Will some podo politician DO SOMETHING? How about BRAD SCHAFFER’S DR. SCHOLL COMMERCIAL. The big foot quack with sx scrubs hustling the buck for OTC QUACTHOTICS. Throw into it the GOOD FEET SUPPORT OBESE TEACHER who said HER DOCTOR referred her to the G.F.S.. What happened to all those APMA liaisons and the “we’re making progress” promises? I thought all you LIFER FOOT LOVER BIOMECHQUACTICS BELIEVERS are all into that plaster casting, put your fingers on and “bisect” the heel , and paint with gentian violet “CUSTOM” shoe insert con. THERE’S NO HOPE AND NO PRAYER FOR NEW YAWK. THAT DIRTY NY QUACK SCHOOL IS, AND HAS BEEN, A SINECURE for cultists and lifers and it’ll never change. Look at JOEL STURM. Nice little gig. Gee, I wonder how he was picked? Smiling and sitting at a RETREAT. Yeah, he works so hard he needs a retreat with the rest of that busy faculty. Busy looking for adulations from frightened students. All he has to do is give out another “award” for (just make up a reason) and that rationalizes the job. Those podiatry schools are cozy little nests for… Read more »

Yeah, yeah, yeah, it’s funny to be a foot “dr”. I can hardly stop laughing. Shoes and shoe stories crack me up. Funny, but the odd cast of “characters” depicted seemed familiar. I’m sure all podiatrists can relate to having STRANGE classmates with similar features and personalities. When the profession itself won’t get serious (ie. believes that plastic in shoes cures things, shoe sales and shoe expertise can make you rich, and one that refuses to accept they’re not actual DOCTORS) they HAVE TO laugh at themselves. They need to mute the painful laughter from the mainstream world. I felt… Read more »

The Good Feet Store has a broader ‘license’ than the dpwtf foot technician. They reference foot, ankle and back pain. They have no limitations on what they say their supports treat.
A 7 year (possibly fraudulent) foot doctorate is not allowed by law to attempt back or knee treatment. In many states they have no standing regarding the ankle or leg either. Sorry, but that’s more truth.

There’s no solid argument that one should sign up for podiatry school unless they’re woefully ignorant, very stupid, or severely mentally ill.

Yes, Abuelita. In TODAY’S computer age all the info and warnings are there, if you’re open minded enough to accept them. When I think that all I had was a “catalog” describing podiatry, the school, and curriculum and an “appointed lifer’s” office to visit I don’t blame my self as much anymore. Back then, there weren’t even that many D.O. schools around and a D.O. didn’t enjoy the parity they do now. The country was dotted mostly with plenty of <75 bed D.O. hospitals. Of course that's where most pods started off, "in the day". To not take advantage and… Read more »
