Would Medicare for all bankrupt Podiatrists?

Would Medicare for all bankrupt Podiatrists?

Recently many presidential candidates have endorsed Medicare for all. Many of these Medicare for all plans support abolishing private insurance. Such an action as abolishing private insurance would in all likelihood drop Podiatrist’s income by as much as 25%. Now, obviously Podiatrists that currently serve primarily Medicare clientele would have minimal impact. But Podiatrists that serve a mixture that leans heavily on private insurance would be most at risk.

If you do not believe me here is an article on how this would all occur :

Most Podiatrists do not currently realize how much of a price drop it is from private insurance to Medicare. In fact the Podiatrists most hurt by this would be Podiatrists in Medical and Orthopedic groups. This would target the highest earning Podiatrists. It would be fair to ask if many Podiatrists would have to end up closing their doors if Medicare for all were to pass.

Medicare for all? Bring it on! My 30+ yrs of having to explain why I can’t send in your footcare (while the asshole down the street does it all day) will come to a close. Actually, I think I’ll be done before all of this comes to pass. I’m tired of dealing with all the extraneous bullshit, like pts bitching about their insurance, having to modify my tx plan because of their deductible, getting humped by the third party auditors for cht notes (so they can “correct code” and get more dinero for their insurance masters… while the only thing… Read more »

Case Studies in Psychosis (loss of contact with reality) Indoctrinated Jr lifer gets job and regurgitates the same propaganda (note: use of “medical” school, college experience with LE injuries, etc…grades were likely not strong enough, low MCAT, or went to No name College and couldn’t earn admission into REAL MEDICAL school and earn an ortho residency/fellowship–but dont let facts get in the way of BM “news” propaganda) …….. “I always wanted to work in medicine. While playing lacrosse in college, I observed teammates with ankle injuries get back into their game after successful foot and ankle surgeries,” he said. “I… Read more »

I hate to interject SCIENCE into this SOCIAL experiment, but they say “water eventually seeks its own level”… and podiatry is FINALLY about to find SCIENCE. Picture a glass of water filled to “brimming”. For several decades podiatry has existed just “above the brim” (continuing water analogy) without spilling over. That is called SURFACE TENSION or COHESION. To understand this, recall that the “POLAR” intermolecular forces of the water molecules ADHERE (attract) like a “film” strong enough to defy the gravity that wants it to spill over. Well, the former FAKE FORCES of podiatry ( PM newspaper ads about shoes… Read more »

Hartley Miltchin should give some of his female celebrity shoes to Hermine Shlok.
And Hal Ornstein never paid the artist that painted the wizzard of oz shit on his hallway walls.
But that’s all OK. Hermine Shlok’s husband does not see where Hal O. is a piece of shit, phony fraud.
