Dr. Hughes was charged with possession of narcotics with intent to deliver and posted bail at $50,000 in July. Farmington, Conn.-based UConn Health physician Cory Edgar, MD, PhD, was arrested after he intentionally coughed on other hospital employees in March. Well here’s her defense: They say: “she failed to exercise that degree of care, skill, and learning expected of a reasonable, prudent podiatrist.” Well, no problemo. She was trained in the podiatric way and a performed like a NON MD is expected. Prudence? Not a factor when “keeping the doors open” is the main job of a wtf. Sounds like another foot franchise and “fake residency failed, proving podiatry education is not trustworthy. I assume she has a license.
