I am confused ……………..

Love the line “As one of the first Doctors of Podiatric Medicine”.
Really ? Is that true ?

– Was that old Lowell the Greater hopping around treating Abe Lincoln.
– Or is Lowell the Lesser exaggerating ?

Me suspects the latter.

Like father like son. They both toot their own horns.

And Barry Block idolizes old Lowell the Greater,

Me thinks Barry is pathetic.

Ok I read the con. Now let’s look at how to become a millionaire foot technician without an MD degree. First use tricky conniving Rhetoric that IMPLIES more than it DENOTES. Examples: “TRULY EFFECTIVE”, followed by, “TEMPORARY increase in “clear nail”. (what does that really mean?) Effective and temporary are not correlative. How about inducing business by using the the term PAINLESS AND PAIN FREE around? And, just how does the laser “TARGET” the fungus? Does it “target the fungus” without touching anything else? Do the fungi have name badges (Hello, my name is fungus) that the laser “targets”? What… Read more »

Robert, how are you? This is not a contest as to which is more important becoming a podiatrist to treat the foot and toenail problems vs becoming a cardiac surgery to save lives. It depends on what one chooses to be and if they have the grades to actually get accepted into post graduate education such as podiatric medical school or medical school. Every individual may feel differently that is why it’s so great to have opinions in this short life. For example treating an infected toenail my opinion is less stressful than participating in cardiac surgery. It is also… Read more »

Who taught podiatrists, that after a life time of white collar thievery, you can be absolved by a big donation to a quack college after you’re dead? Enjoy a great life while you’re alive then present yourself at the “Pearly Gates” with your P.M. News press release.

Absolved by a big donation Robert ? We’ve heard and seen this before. Podiatry needs its own reformation. Hang it on the APMA front door. Make it high enough that Santi drool will not cause the ink to run. Yes, big donations rule podiatry. Big donations rule the APMA board, podiatry seminars, lately ACFAS, and resident education. And big donations try to rewrite the podiatry history of scoundrels and hucksters now being portrayed as scientific leaders. Is PM magazine the Gutenberg bible ( vomit bag actually ) of podiatry malfeasance ? Me thinks soooooo. Is the laser the new cross… Read more »

Yes, lifers may be eligible for absolution–if applicable–and donate to the foot clubs. Those of other faiths will require a hazing period consisting of walking a few hundred yards through nail shavings and pay by severing their pinky ring fingers. As far as the check-in at the ‘Pearly Gates’ they will be assigned an ethereal envoy/attorney to plead their case. The fascinating canard is the go straight Hell notion, but even the Devil doesn’t accept podiatry.
