With just 2 weeks to go, it appears the APMA annual junk science meeting is going to be another disaster.
Less than 600 are registered thus far, including speakers and exhibitors. And the free-loading APMA board, officers and insiders.
Covid ? Inflation ? Travel difficulties ? Orlando in August ? Same shit different year ? Enough of Lehrman, Kesselman ? Enough Jublia commercials ? Enough DumbSantis the village idiot ?
Another flop by the APMA. Can’t wait for the spin and phony numbers we will hear from them. Eat well Ira. Drool well Larry. Maybe King can stop by the fixator booth for a quick leg lengthening.
APMA. Another joke meeting by a joke organization.

Armstrong manifests psychic damage with a FORCED, FAKE, FOOT FAKER smile.

Anemic showing likely. They’ll of course blame it on the scamdemic. Look out for armpit fake md, diversity theatre, gap tooth skippy rodgers, oriental lackey girl gets award, neurotic overcatted girl with 2 masks, gloves, sanitizers, and ironsmiths face shield attending a meeting with 6 people, slovenly jokeseph, tea bag stealing, etc…Also Watch for unkempt badly aging overweight simps and their girl counterparts sit in seats with empty , sad eyes, and fake smiles as they wonder what is their reason for living
Podiatry and its’ clubs (America) are places that people came to because they were unsatisfied with themselves and wanted to become someone else. Take a look at American movies and see how many of the plots, threadbare as they are, turn upon somebody being “really somebody else.” On the contrary, for example, no one in Anna Karenina or Emma is anyone but him or her self. The exceptions are always criminal. Look at instructions on how to succeed in business by pretending to be successful. To be American you must be fake. Forget substance, or character; just focus on superficiality… Read more »
Plots that “work” are often well written produced, and directed. Plot, character structure. Actors are just the paint, often expensive paint, but if the story works it works. Lead characters have to adapt to and follow the script, stick to it line by line, little wiggle room. The writing or creation of the characters requires a dramatic need, point of view, character/attitude, and an arc (rotten person is transformed through a series of intentions and obstacles). Often an inciting event occurs at plot point one, a knock on the door, a man with a gun, a sexy broad, conflict and… Read more »
Eddy , sorry they gave you negatives. You are just telling about podiatry horror show (movie)
“nobodies striving to be somebody”. A boiler plate saying that should be in every school, board, blog, apprentice program, or anywhere LIFERS SPOUT DELUSIONS.
What are those quack colleges and useless 3 year programs teaching? After 7 years only 34 out of >1,500 can touch an ankle. Students. Are you going to pay 200 grand and risk 7 years to MAYBE touch an ankle? Podiatric education is a failed model. The “so called residency” is NOT a residency, it’s an apprenticeship, a preceptorship, a WATCHER-ship. Your fancy schmacy, “just like an MD”, 3 years STILL FAILS TO GIVE YOU A LICENSE AS BROAD AS A DOCTOR’S OR HIS P.A.! What has to hit you upside the head to see you’ve been conned. You do… Read more »
Gotta admit Robert, this tune is pretty catchy and cute! Danny Boy does have some talent.

After a long day of work, I put that Roxy song on. The jazz is really good. Danny Boy, you are talent in music. The sax, the percussion, creativity, etc… Forget the foot thing, do jazz
If everyone put that Bye Bye Sunny Song on, this would likely cheer people up. A good sense of comical music is needed. I was surprised to see Bye Bye Sunny on Apple Music.
Thank you. Took a while to write this song bye bye sunny.
Thank you Daniel for the music and please create more. Are you a musician? Do you play the instruments in the music?
Well, the two are mutually EXCLUSIVE. I don’t see any correlation between singing about your Cat and being allowed to touch an ankle without training. Perhaps if he spent more time with the books instead of the music he wouldn’t have had spent decades bemoaning his prohibition from moving to a different state.

Case studies in delusions, denials, fantasies, and brainwashing. “The definition of podiatry should allow a podiatrist to prescribe medications that may affect systemic organs, but for which the purpose is to treat a foot condition. With such a definition, podiatrists should be allowed to Rx insulin for a foot with a diabetic neuropathy. A license is not a right to Rx without training and experience. But a license opens a path for training from an internist, endocrinologist, etc. I remember years ago when I asked if a podiatrist could treat PVD in the foot with Trental even if other parts… Read more »
Yes yes yes you sound just like an idiot that would write into PM News and state exactly what you just said. And the moron DPM, JD editor of PM News would post your comment.
On vacation. Needs the whopping 5 days to relax and count his $ from selling delusions and propaganda
Yes Mr. MD’s you have just read the mentality of a PODIATRIST named DANIEL CHASKIN. Just one of the types “graduated” from the NYC franchise. Convoluted, illogical, simple. Definitely not DOCTORAL material. U.S. podiatrists really should have the BACHELOR’S DEGREE MISTER TITLE as most other countries. As long as we have Chaskins, Block’s, shoe pictures and money lovers like KESSELMAN, keep podiatry FAR AWAY from a broader scope without first getting a REAL MEDICAL EDUCATION. YOU CAN’T BE PART DOCTOR. YOU EITHER ARE OR YOU’RE NOT.
My opinion check out http://www.journalofdermoscopy.com
LOOK OUT PUBLIC: A FRAUD IS IN THE MAKING. If you ck out his non expertise site, he can use the hits TO SELL TO ADVERTISERS. PODIATRISTS SEE EVERYTHING IN TERMS OF MONEY.
Robert, you could learn a lot from the http://www.journalofdermoscopy.com. Please let us help each other during these uncertain times. OK do we need anymore evidence that Dan Chaskin may be dangerous? His mental damage for being scope limited has been presented for years now. Today, HIS FRIEND, Barry Block, allowed him to hang himself. Chaskin UNREASONABLY AND UN ACDEMICALLY argues to be able to treat ‘SYSTEMIC ORGANS’ if they have something to do with the foot. CHASKIN wants to RX INSULIN!!! His dangerous thinking is as follows: diabetes affects the foot. Diabetics need insulin. Therefore Podiatrists should be able to RX Insulin. Totally oblivious to the full body and systemic effects he oversimplifies. He says we can RX Trental… Read more »

Robert, informal podiatric training and or experience in a hospital setting is safe because a hospital quality assurance program oversees this. Your “opinion” is laced with ignorance. If this is such a good profession, why are there so few applicants?
Yeah, it’s such a good profession that even when you add 3 years on top of quack college it still =’s LIMITED (very) LICENSE. So, it’s a real math conundrum; 4 + 3 = 0
Robert, 1. A podiatrist in at least one state is licensed to Rx any drug to treat any foot condition even if such a drug affects other body parts. Thus if a podiatrist can affect other body parts to treat any foot condition, then they should be licensed to treat those conditions that are already affected by the drugs prescribed for a foot condition. (This reasoning I feel as a similar analogy to the law that allows a podiatrist to be licensed treat a leg wound in the presence of a contiguous foot wound but who loses the ability to… Read more »

SIR, YOU KEEP ADDING TO THE LIBRARY OF YOUR STUPIDITY AND, IF YOU’RE ON ANY LEGISLATIVE COMMITTEE, IT FURTHER PROVES PODIATRY IS A STUPID, DIRTY HOPELESS PROFESSION. GO Rx some insulin for yourself.
We all need to work together to make our world a better place. Let us be friends and help each other learn. A podiatrist who is licensed and takes classes to upgrade their skills should be able to prescribe insulin. Life is short. We need to listen to new ideas and share them to help people during these difficult times. These are my opinions only.

‘would anyone recommend any career to someone where there are so many battles being fought and one’s pay scale is continuously dropping while expenses continue to rise?! ‘

Yeah the big buck promise isn’t universal in podiatry. It always was a scam.
We are sitting inside a car with flat tires on all four wheels, and seem to enjoy it.
I don’t enjoy it but it’s a humors and truthful analogy. Podiatrists just don’t seem to have the same internal drive that ACTUAL MD DOCTORS do.
Well. Did you read the happy horseshit in PM News ? Some deluded podiatrist claims that as a resident he ran ICU codes. I only agree with some statements. Podiatrists are trained to be limited licensed practitioners. Yet this is because their license prohibits licensed podiatrists from having a reasonable path to upgrade their skill set by obtaining supervised training and or experience to increase their scope of practice. Safety is not an issue since a license is not a right to perform incompetent care. If one gets informal training and or experience and performs competent care safety is not the issue so long as a states scope of practice licenses such care. You FAILED to get a program DANIEL CHASKIN. ACCEPT IT ALREADY. YOU have been rationalizing and trying to correct that for decades. No body (podiatric or MD) recognizes your beliefs. Expressing that these are YOUR personal opinions only solidifies your INABILITY TO ACCEPT YOUR OWN FAILURE.
Others do agree with my beliefs. I just succeeded in getting licensed in another state and recently joined another hospital. The hospital agrees with my opinion because I was granted privileges. Furthermore the new state I got licensed in recognized my experience in practice of more than 35 years without getting sued.
I just joined the legislative committee of a podiatry society.
I do accept I failed to get a podiatric residency program. I was fortunate that some states consider an applicants other qualifications regarding granting a license.
Hey Robert regarding your post No body (podiatric or MD) recognizes your beliefs
please read PM news where it was posted I applaud Dr. Chaskin for at least suggesting an alternative”.
There was no “shortage”. Podiatry was (is) UNRECOGNIZED and was a PRIVATE SCHOOL FRANCHISE SYSTEM BUSINESS THAT WAS NEVER WANTED OR NEEDED IN MAINSTREAM MEDICINE. IT WAS A ABUSINESS CON STARTED IN A NEW YORK CITY SLUM SCHOOL. Even those that got a program those programs were NOT RECOGNIZED BY ACTUAL MAINSTREAM MEDICINE. You didn’t even qualify for YOUR OWN QUACK PROGRAMS. Don’t rationalize your failure. It’s bad enough that podiatry is not needed, but when you can’t even get in to your own “house of worship”, that speaks poorly of YOU. Robert, hope all is well with you.
Formal certified podiatric residency training can be bypassed in instances where there were residency shortages. My opinion is in some cases not getting a residency match had nothing to do with ones qualification to get a program.
If there was no shortage of programs in 1984 prove it by telling me how many graduated there were and how many programs existed.
By the way, if my opinion differs from yours, this is not justification for podiatry to get rid of someone with a difference of opinions.
Please have a wonderful day.
Many books to read???? Podiatry knowledge is in a pamphlet. Nails, corns, calluses , heel pain, bunion surgery hammer toe surgery, wound care, Tinea Pedis, neuroma and orthotics.
Chaskin, if a license does NOT give the right to perform incompetent care does reading something from a book like you propose give you the privilege to perform incompetent care? If you think it does, let’s close down the schools and apprenticeships, let everyone just read books and open up their foot store.
some people are visual learners and retain information read. This can enable some podiatrists to upgrade their skill set, scrub with others who can perform such care independently and upgrade their skills.
Thus formal podiatry residency training can be bypassed and informal training accomplished resulting in competent podiatric care.
This is how I succeeded in obtaining licenses in multiple states and hospital privileges.
“FORMAL RESIDENCY CAN BE BYPASSED”??!!! WHAT’S YOUR EVIDENCE? WHO AGREES? Even podiatry demands 3 years and MD’s don’t even recognize that yet you want the MD’s to accept “INFORMAL TRAINING”. SIR I WANT TO STATE THIS ON THE RECORD. I BELIEVE YOU ARE A DANGER TO THE PUBLIC AND SHOULD BE CAREFULLY MONITORED. WHO KNOWS WHAT ELSE YOU RATIONALIZE. WE ALREADY KNOW YOU “INFORMALLY” TAUGHT YOURSELF TO BE A DERMATOLOGIST! Uh, is “multiple states” NY and NJ?!
Robert please read what I said very carefully. I just obtained hospital privileges at another hospital may 2022 bypassing formal certified podiatric residency training.
You are entitled to your opinion however if I was a danger to the public I would have been sued by one of the 1000 s of patients I treated after more than 35 years of practice including podiatric wound care etc…
I never was ever sued for podiatric malpractice.
Barry Block’s SHOE LOVING BLINDED BY PODIATRY ACCOLYTES are the only ones voting for DANIEL CHASKIN’S PERVERSE COMMENTARIES. That half of podiatry makes podiatry a DIRTY PROFESSION.
