We only exist to this day because no one; not PAs or NPs want to cut (grind down) onychauxic nails or cut corns. Medical treatment exam tables don’t come with debris trays. That is the only time you get an actual referral. Podiatrists used to get referrals for arch supports. No more now for seven hundred dollar pieces of plastic.
B/C NPs and PAs are TRAINED to provide medical care. They listen to hearts. Treat diabetes. The can treat the ENTIRE body. Podiatrists cannot legally cut FINGERnails in most states.
