Amazed? Not when you accept the fact that podiatry itself is a scam on medicine and many techs. went into it for a business, not a profession. Too many podiatrists enjoy mediocrity with a bloated title and many do not have the morals to be honest. It started with the CUSTOM, “PRESCRIPTION”, “ORTHOTIC” SCAM. Wild, made up, unsubstantiated, “theories” comparing shoe inserts to eye lenses just to make a buck became ingrained in podiatry and thus cheating and larceny became welded into podiatry.
