The best thing would be for that “BIG MISTAKE” (podiatry) to die out. The simplicity and mental illness in this trade is growing while its need is diminishing. I’ve always thought of the toenail trimming podiatrist in the same light as the hospital BARBER. Now we read about a podiatrist who, in essence, is “working from a barbershop”. BLACK BARBERSHOP HEALTH OUTREACH trimming and screening. They mention rushing a “customer” from the barbershop to the emergency room (where real MD doctors are). Just like a podiatric practice.
