Eddy: Perhaps the attrition occurring in this site is because the editor (Seth) fails to respond to e mails to him and/or REMOVES opinions that apparently come too close to acquaintances. The egotistical virus that infected and lysed the Truth in the Barry Block and Alan Sherman blogs is now infecting and negating the UNIQUENESS of The PODIATRY POST. I suspected a problem when the new POD POST site came out with the statement: AWAITING MODERATION. Most were so-called “highly educated” cogs in the us machine. They were just operators, smoothies, lacking any kind of creativity, intelligence, or ability to think in anything other than 2-word clichés and usa, usa, or dp wtf, dp wtf. Basically, vapidity. We follow the discussions in a blog dedicated to american university “professors.” Most people there supposedly have PhDs, MBAs, or PsyDs, MDs, yet it is mind boggling to see the level of stupidity and ignorance exhibited by these “professors.” Ninety-nine percent of them were total morons. Sort of funky that the usual posters have evaporated—maybe they blew off the steam left to give a crap. Maybe the frequency of topic changes aren’t continuing to attract an intellectual (uh…it is podiatric, but still—). Nonetheless I’d suspect lots of folks got bored of reading insult after insult of OTHER sites, who, despite the criticisms remain consistent in bringing material (relevance, educational, absurd aside), but they – the other sites, that is, have continuity. I kind of miss the ranting. Speculations abound: seizure in mid-sentence, exile, extended vacation, dirt nap… inquiring minds would like to know.

R’s OK, but there hasn’t been a lot going on here. spoke with him a couple weeks ago, and sort of shares the same opinion that there’s too much of nothing new. I suppose getting a rant going would be interesting, and R had that way to attract posters. And Traum?
