Their very nature is based on consolidation referrals and money. I do not believe the United States has more groups than private practices (yet) and there are still private practitoners who “just want to do a good job”. I respect your opinions, though I may not be in complete agreement. The doctors in our multi specialty group are all talented and bright doctors, but many are also smart business people. You can still be honest and want to make money. I’m probably one of the least aggressive in the group in that arena. Maybe it’s because I’m actively trying to up my game to attempt to put podiatry in a good light in the practice.
