Dr. Silver laments the reduced payments given to DPM’s contracted to payments to MD’s and DO’s for allegedly “similar services”.
Dr. Silver then expresses the hope that the incompetent self serving APMA will fix this problem. He must have just arisen from a coma.
There is nothing they will accomplish with regard to “equal pay”. So dream on Dr. Silver. Never has happened. Never will happen.

c) An ad for yet another seminar with pictures of so called educators from Presents. The “Treasure Hunt” meaning your wallet and corporate money is the treasure.
Poor Dr. Silver. He just doesn’t understand that he has a degree (DPM) not recognized by the academic world.
He lives in a world where he believes he is somehow equal to a real doctor.
Listen Dr. Silver. AAA league ball players are paid less than real major league players for a reason. And a DPM is paid less for the same reason.
Dr. Silver is the perfect APMA dues paying customer. He’s in a fog. And there is no lighthouse to guide him into port.
Sorry. There is no silver lining to this problem.

Just read M.P.R. (MEDICAL PRESCRIBING NEWS) and their quiz of the day. Derm. quiz with differentials with fungi etiologies, et. al. What I found interesting was that the photo, presentation, and discussion were done by A PA STUDENT!!! STUDENT! NO BARRY, the sky’s not falling……..much. PA students on major M.D. web sites are speaking of systemic conditions above the ankle. A doctor of podiatric medicine degree (alias wtf) is falling beneath a P.A. STUDENT. Jeff Kittay, a retired foot technician, moved to Costa Rica after 40 years in the foot business. He does make a point about the ABSURDITY OF EQUAL PAY FOR A DOCTOR vs. NON MD like a PODIATRIST. He says: “STOP WASTING TIME AND MONEY ON INEFFECTUAL LOBBYING (that’s schmoozing and bribing) and spend it instead ON CHANGING THE DEGREE”.
