But how are Podiatry Students and Residents going to complete rotations, externships and clerkships when those rotations no longer exist through no fault of their own? This is a serious issue that is probably going to need to be addressed.

Podiatry students have been losing rotations the past 7 years, PAs are taking the spots, the Podiatry schools will not spend the money to get the rotations but PA schools will. How do I know? The Podiatry students that come to my office tell me. Seems like 4th year at a Podiatry School is a waste of time and money, there should be an investigation. What “rotations”? Sales? “Externships”-collect FULL 4th year tuition then you drive around to various place and watch clippery and salesmanshit? What exactly was their “training”?
