How many times do I have to look in the paper and see some Podiatrist being all excited they have an article in the paper about flip flops or some other meaningless danger that only Podiatrists understand? The issue is then you go to that Podiatrist’s website and it’s a cookie cutter officiate website that is 8th on a Google search for that city. But hey’ you got an article in a paper that no one reads and no one will click on. Maybe you will get REM Jackson to lecture on SEO until you know someone that knows what they are doing. The issue with the internet is Podiatrists are getting their info from grifters who are more interested in selling their services than actually providing useful information (mainly because they do not know any). But then again go to the APMA’s website or its twitter page. The clueless are leading the clueless in the 21st century. People want to know why the Podiatrist down the road kicks their ass just cause he is in the orthopedic group or in the hospital. It has as much to do as they are being lead by people that know how to market and KNOW what they are doing, not the AAPPM. Do you think a hospital would settle for their Podiatrist being any less than 3rd in a Google search of their area? Do you think they care about newspaper articles? Podiatrists and the people that claim to be marketers need to adjust to 2019.
