Podiatrists may have to pay back thousands of dollars for Amniotic fluid injections

Podiatrists may have to pay back thousands of dollars for Amniotic fluid injections

One of the scams going around Podiatry recently has been amniotic fluid injection for all sorts of foot conditions and disorders.

Here is the alert the APMA sent out:

https://www.apma.org/News/NewsDetail.cfm?ItemNumber=49113

As you can see this could get very expensive for Podiatrists if forced to reimburse two years back for injections they charged far, far too much for.  So while reading Podiatry websites that offered and advertised amniotic fluid injections I couldn’t help but notice the one thing they all have in common. Not a single literature citation or scientific article is cited while they write up Amniotic fluid injections for everything from Plantar Fasciitis to Ankle Sprains.  You would have thought they could have at least published something in the PM News or something.

Here is Richard Silverstein posting a letter on the PM News about 73 patients he injected with great results….OH ..turns out he is on the Medical Advisory board. Dr. Silverstein did a poor job advising and since the FDA says the injections are crap, I guess it’s safe to assume he is lying about those 73 patients.

It’s amazing this got as far as it did.

Have a homework assignment. It’s called the Shithead Meditation, and will only take up 5 mins. of yr day, every day. Sit on yr couch; turn off the indoctrination tube- TV, cell fones, all that techno crap. Environment shd be quiet. Now close yr eyes, and focus on the stupidity of the American people. Think of how they are all worked up abt the Ukraine while not having a clue as to what is actually happening there. Think abt how for them, an emotion = an idea. Think of their self-righteous frenzied, worked up with American propaganda, and how they… Read more »

REALITY: I don’t think most people are BORN this way. Ergo, TEACHERS (mostly liberal who themselves have been “indoctrinated”) set the culture. As forr the “media”,(electronic, print etc) they too have formed their thoughts and processes from teachers (parents and religious bodies included). So, before we hate the people or A COUNTRY perhaps we should look at those INSTITUTIONS. Look at the DAMAGE THE PODIATRY TEACHERS AND SCHOOLS HAVE DONE. 12,000 MISLEAD, PROPAGANDIZED, ILL EDUCATED SOULS SEARCHING FOR A DEFINITION. In cultures where “the easy way” is the preferred path we see the opening for decadence. In the more disciplined… Read more »

Coming to a DPM soon in your area….peripheral neuropathy cure by using ( ALBEET) an almond / red beet ointment. Apply on lower extremity three ties daily. 2 oz cost $ 1500. It works….so says PM News and a host of DPMS who are consultants to the ALBEET company. Seminars coming soon to your area !

ALBEETS cures neuropathy? Too bad neurologists, endocrinologists, and uh real doctors missed the boat on this one. I though that Neuremedy was curing everyone. Did it stop working ? So here is what will happen. They will pay to lecture at APMA meetings. They will advertise in PM News. Present Podiatry will convince them that if they become a sponsor they will sell 1,000,000 doses. Armstrong (the fake M.D.) will announce another phony “study” about beefs curing neuropathy, Frykberg will announce a topical version of ALBEETS that works as well as the Dermografts he hawked. Lee Rogers will announce his… Read more »

This sounds like a debtor prison which according to Article III Section 20 of the Philippine Constitution states that “no person shall be imprisoned for debt.”. I dont think this is enforceable with all this amniotic fluid nonsense. It sounds like Aplicrap-the penis skin jazz that was used left and right by DMPS and the nonlicensed slick greasy greek ‘md’

Amniotic injectable’s do work very well, and I have personal experience in this arena. As Barry Block slowed advertising and testimonials to these products, I therefore knew they were of value. After all, the little barrister nebbish who could not and would never allow unproven quackery in his publications. So I used the injectables on my rather undersized penis. I do not wish to brag, but you can now call me Dr. Twelve Incher. Or watermelon balls, so don’t tell me this doesn’t work. There was a downside however. It caused my foreskin to grow back, and I have phimosis.… Read more »

Not much left for the 75 year old lifers and indebted newbies to do. Wound care circus is over as well. Hey, why not do what you are trained to do. Cut toenails. . But look out. Class findings will be eliminated. Patients will have to pay out of pocket. Don’t worry the PA’s will do it. What’s a podiatrist to do?

Foot national ASSOciation “news” and other Dan blather–why the media would want to mislead people on something so serious. What are your thoughts on the matter?

Who believes the “news”? This is a combination of ignorance and laziness. Rather than do real reporting, the vast majority of the media (print and electronic), “editors” and other asshats, as well as Big Tech are supporting a massive propaganda campaign.

Their ‘job’ is to manufacture CONsent and to make your wallet lighter.

The podiatrists face up to 2 years payback and possibly criminal prosecution for fraud! Nice advice APMA to prevent this..,

The amniotic fluid injection scam is nothing compared to the wound care product scam.
Rogers, Armstrong, Frykberg, Ross, all purveyors of ulcer curing products. Presents and PM and Podiatry Today make their money off these products. Yet amputation rates are increasing in diabetic patients. That’s podiatry. No real science required. Just a CPT code and trusting victims.

I mean, isn’t this just like the LUCY-CHARLIE BROWN FOOTBALL HOLDING scheme? Charlie falls for Lucy’s promise to hold the ball, but every time she pulls it away. Similarly, STUPID PODIATRISTS listen to Sales broads telling them how they can INCREASE PROFITS AND LOOK MEDICAL LIKE A DOCTOR. Money mixed with MD misleading has been a hall mark of podiroquackery for the last 50 years. I was a witness to it for the last 45. Whether its magic shoe inserts that are based on “biomechquactics” that don’t really work but promise profits or “knifeless surgery” (laser). It’s all fraud. How… Read more »
