There is now a face mask shortage in the United States due to the Coronavirus. There are Podiatrists that have been hoarding face masks with shields for years. There are some that use them to treat patients. It is now time for Podiatrists to donate any extra supplies they have these to local hospitals. It is more important to keep doctors from getting infected than it is for you to keep your eyes clean while you file some crusts down with a dremel.
I know Podiatrists think they are essential elements of the health care team. I have bad news for you. You are not essential. Put your ego aside and do the right thing TODAY, not tomorrow, TODAY! Close your practice and give your extra gloves and face masks to the hospitals. Don’t ask for recognition. Do not alert the local news media to your decision. JUST DO IT. Grow up! Realize you are not important and do it.
Interesting in my state the Podiatry ass-society has not told its members to close . will study it next week…. ( I not member) .

Was reading the prices of pod seminars and RD seminars: Pods-Pods teaching pods.
