Chiropractors and physician assistants can do more than a podiatrist. They are able to perform scams and quackery and rip off the public throughout the entire body.
A podiatrist is limited to scams and quackery to the foot and sometimes ankle. Think about the difference in scope of practice between a physician assistant and a podiatrist.
You can be a physician assistant faster and cheaper. You can do more. The medical community has greater respect for you as a physician assistant than a foot doctor.
Why would anyone want to do feet when they could do the entire body faster and cheaper and have more respect? Think about that one.
If that is not obvious look around at some of the people that have DPM after their name. Would you ever let them touch you ?
