Why podiatry failed
Redundant, ancillary, many others can do a dp wtf job. Training, education nonconsistent. Training/education outlier from real medical training. Led by mostly corrupt and fraudulent organizations whose principal goal is to extract/extricate money from you. Whether upselling, required bullshit, or other crapola–only costs money, dues, and more fees. To do the podiatry, one must pay dearly and that severe cost is not only money, but time, stress, emotions. You were always a whatsa, the black guy at the country club. Tolerated not really liked. To all those first year students pictured in BM news GET OUT while you can. I have almost 40 years in podiatry and everyday I still ask why. To those “white coat” recipients cut your loses. Podiatry was a huge mistake
The patient/client/customer/whomever simply does not value your services. Period. Perhaps, you could show them your $314,293 student loan bill +interest to prove to them all that “edumacation”. However, they dont give 2 shits about you or your DPMETRY nonsense of clipping. IF they did, they would understand your training, expertise, talent, and NOT haggle over your prices/cost/remuneration. Do they haggle over a cardiothoracic surgeon “costs”? Or a neurosurgeon? That cartier jewlerly, the lamborghini, the season tickets at the basket game, the miele appliances, the well built home with great fixtures, etc..etc…Fuck no. WHY??
