Kesselman wants his money. He’s mad that insurance CEO’s aren’t JAILED LIKE PODIATRISTS are when it’s determined the law was broken. Rubin has finally woke up. He now realizes the APMA (that Lifer’s swoon over) have FAILED TO ADDRESS PODIATRY’S MANY (that’s “MANY”) PROBLEMS. Another slew of meaningless awards were given out in Pennsylvania for Excellence in podiatric service. Just what is that? Being a good “party” member? I enjoy this satire. The APMA, podiatry schools and all those boards are self-serving. Little has been done to move podiatry forward. NPs and PAs have a much larger scope of practice which is slowly obliterating the need for the limited scope podiatrist. I believe there is antitrust activity by NYS against more than 900 podiatrists board certified in podiatric medicine who cannot medically treat the ankle. If enough podiatrists write letters to the antitrust dept of the US justice dept as well as the FTC, progress might be made to make this ankle law restriction null and void for every licensed podiatrist board certified by ABPM.
