Yes this is real. A long term care company is looking for a Podiatrist to make $15-$18/hour part time to trim toenails. It’s part time so no benefits. Hopefully it would increase with the minimum wage.

I am coming round to thinking more and more the minimum wage issue is a misdirection. The real issue should be a living wage for family-supporting adults. The minimum wage is and was for high school kids not grown ass adults. Why does everyone worry about minimum wage so much? So glad my daughter is a PA. How could I in good conscience let her become a DPM. The golden DPM days are over. She does very well. salary 155,000 for 32 hour work week with benefits and …….she does the ingrown nails that come into the family practice office. DPMs deny reality every day.

Seems fair. Comparable to what a pod makes in private practice. I guess the $18.00 dollar figure is for those board certified. Sad part is, there is probably a list of podiatrists who applied.
