The population was dumber than shit. Anti-intellectualism (Richard Hofsteder) which was an American “tradition”–hatred for anything, anyone who is/was intelligent, wise, and/or had/has a vocabulary greater than a 8th grader. There has always been talk about a DOCTOR shortage. This is why NP’s & PA’s came into existence. It appears medical schools will not be SIGNIFICANTLY increasing the number admit-ants desiring an MD degree. What better time for the wtf schools to use the shortage as leverage to evolve to a general license? The brick and motor quack schools could easily morph from a Caterpillar to a Monarch…just ad MD’s. After all, we’re told, “We took the same first 2 years as MD students”. We use the same books. We’re “just like” any other specialist. Caribbean Medical Schools are thriving… Read more »
