The podiatry assistant in your office might take x-rays, trim toenails, remove stitches, take dressings on and off. But they are not and will never be a DPM.
The ambulance paramedic does more to save lives every day than any podiatrist. But they are not and will never be an MD.
The CRNA provides more serious decision making and care than any podiatrist. They will never be an anesthesiologist.
Unless …….. the paramedic, the CRNA, go to medical school. Or the podiatry assistant goes to podiatry school.
The mere fact that you are given some limited tasks to perform at a time of desperate need does not make you an MD,anymore than the house staff disinfecting a patient room. Continue to live the fantasy. Continue to print the fantasy. Continue to dream the fantasy.
Reality ? You are, and will always be, a podiatrist. Unless to go to medical school and obtain a real MD degree that allows you to practice as a real MD.
