NFL Football Players go to Foot and Ankle Orthopedists

NFL Football Players go to Foot and Ankle Orthopedists

I read with interest that often injured Indianapolis Colts quarterback Carson Wentz sustained a serious foot injury and was referred to a “foot specialist”.

The “foot specialist” turned out to be Robert Anderson, M.D.  This was shocking to me given all the fine work done by the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine.

It was shocking, indeed.  Here you have Puncha Puncha Patrick DeHeer, the self-proclaimed expert in sports medicine right there in Indianapolis.

Why would they possibly go to someone else?  Then I realized.  This occurred during the APMA National Meeting where Puncha Puncha Patrick was attending as a BOD member.

So he was not available.  I am certain they would have sent him the patient if he weren’t stuck in Denver selling his bullshit equinus splints.

Then I wondered why would they not send him to Amol the magnificent Saxena

Then I realize this is the Olympics and it’s likely that Amol the magnificent is likely knee deep in patients at the Olympics.

I’m certain that he is there.   Oh that’s right, they aren’t allowing spectators.  Well I’m certain he wasn’t available either.

Then there’s a little fat guy who I think is President of the American Academy of Sports Medicine, I suppose he wasn’t available either.

Poor Carson Wentz.  He is just going to have to settle for Robert Anderson, M.D. who isn’t even a member of the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine.

I suppose Dr. Anderson is better than nothing.

A new journal home grown is coming out!! It’s called: http://www.dumberthanstaledogshit.com It discusses podiatrists in great detail. Get special “certificates” and “licenses” to play with 26cm of anatomy as non medical school “doctors”. We feature brainwashed/lifer podiatrists each month and I interview myself in the premiere issue, and then the 2nd issue will be businessman bullshitter barry about silly socks, funny shoes, what to wear during halloween. 3rd installment will be podiatric propaganda, psych ops, and pink shirts starring love boat SpareRibs. 4th issue-we interview horneyschtein wizard of bullshit on how to upsell when you have 300,000+ in student loans… Read more »

Just do what Block does. Work out a deal, solicit them, and just take their e mails. They won’t know you want their e mails to build your #’s TECHNICALLY so you can misrepresent your importance to those advertisers whose money you want. Too many Podiatrists come from business money backgrounds.

Takes their emails sends them worthless shit reprints of OTHERS work, this boosts his #’s of “subscribers to show advertizers that people ‘read’ his drivel and then can charge $$$ for selling advertizing space. Does he share his income to the subscribers? Crickets. Shyster

Daniel-do you treat any professional NFL players ? If so, did you use a dermatoscope?

Hey Sloppy !

Dr. Dan Chaskin only treats NBA players. He does not use his dermatoscope, as they only allow him to trim their toe nails and corns and calluses.

BIG FUCKEN DEAL. You are still 2nd rate compared to a foot and ankle orthopedist. BTW, do any foot and ankle orthopedists use your equinus brace ? NOPE ! And what exactly do you do for the Indiana Pacers ? NOTHING ! Any surgery on the players? NOPE ! Just make plastic drek to put into their shoes. About Dr. DeHeer As a board-certified podiatrist and pediatric specialist, Patrick A. DeHeer, DPM can help with the most complex of foot and ankle ailments. Dr. DeHeer cares for patients at Hoosier Foot & Ankle at their six convenient locations throughout the… Read more »

Just having MD after your name trumps all the above BS.

DPMs are not in reality

If the MDs started a board for ….Medical Astronomy, within hours the DPMS would have board of Podiatric Astronomy. DPMs try to legitimatize themselves by copying MDs not realizing that they look like fools with 23 different boards for the foot and ankle, all created by other DPMS.

Perfect! They would Copy medical astronomy! Best analogy yet for this 2nd rate lying, misrepresentative BUSINESS CALLED PODIATRY. You can’t be honest and proud of podiatry if you’re sane.

It was a business enterprise masquerading as a ‘health’ profession.

That slogan should be on all applications and admission letters so student-customers know what they’re getting into. Also it should say: This is not an ACTUAL MEDICAL SCHOOL. You won’t be an actual DOCTOR. Your signature acknowledges that you read, understand, and accept that you will not be an actual physician. (though they’ll throw those terms around liberally and even give you a white coat). Hey, forget a white coat and a ‘token’ stethoscope. Shouldn’t you get a quactograph and a coding manual instead?

Think about it. It’s all about money. That’s it. How the bleep can ANYONE say that it’s a health/ wellness field when it’s all about financial wellness of the foot “doctor”

Podiatry was abt slogans. Nothing abt substance. Just slogans and mission statements.

There are some downsides. A few examples: in court—especially divorce—judges stare you down like a dog sniffing an asshole, friends and relatives who aren’t MDs call any time to ask dumbass questions, or prescriptions (the worst). You have different responsibilities and held to a higher standard—Your opinions about anything are weighted more heavily. Sure, there are plenty of opportunities, among them are financial, but that can disappear at the bang of a gavel. More is expected you in that body of knowledge, years of study, and as the years pass you acquire connections with colleagues, challenges, and courtesies that P… Read more »

Yet, the # of years and cost of schooling is relatively the same as real doctors. So who the fuck in their right mind would do the p thing? Unless they want to clip toenails and sell plastic crap-might as well do podiatry in Britshit land, or Oz since schooling is paid by the govt.

Yeah and the greedy podiatry controllers say even if you got an MD and an MD residency YOU’D STILL HAVE TO DO A FOOT DR REZ TO DO “PODIATRIC MEDICINE”. THE CROOKS WON’T LET GO OF THEIR POWER! With a plenary MD license who the f would need a “podiatric rez”. Any MD rez would more than cover that except for the mycotic nail clinic and arch support sales. Their minds are messed up and that’s why podiatry goes no where. The engineers are lost themselves. It’s a damaged mind/personality thing. Wrong men got into the drivers seat. So what’s… Read more »

So, Eddy, it seems that one of the things you’re saying is that podiatry is like the guy with a “VIETNAM VETERAN” HAT ON that was a typist in the States implying he was “in the shit” with a purple heart and battle ribbons on his uniform. Pods wear hats saying ‘DOCTOR’ when all they did was cut nails and do some minor procedures. STOLEN VALOR IS PODS CLAIM TO FAME AND YOU ARE 100% RIGHT THAT MD AFTER YOUR NAME IS A “SOBERING RESPONSIBILITY” . I’m sure the preponderance of pods have little INTEREST (let alone acumen) for the… Read more »

Or Robert, the schmo with the “Vietnam Veteran” hat on that never was part of the military. Just theatre. Like podiatry

Sort if R, but consider the need for a character to wear anything that’d put them at a time or place without demarcation of their role in that arena. Rarely do combat vets amplify their experiences (largely they’re struggling with those internally), or acting out, in some unwholesome ways the past or running for political gain. The typist with the hat might have some tattoos and wear fatigues. They’re usually NCOs or draftees embellishing an inflated role, one that can easily burst by asking them what their MOS (military occupation specialty). Failure to disclose is a tell worth noting; often… Read more »

typist : defused I.E.D.~BUNION:BOWEL resection. ~ABPM: Internist. WHY DOES BARRY BLOCK BAN THESE TRUTHS? IF YOU’RE NOT HONEST YOU SHOULDN’T BE A LAWYER OR EVEN A PODIATRIST. Podiatry has to rely on MISREPRESENTATIONS to continue to exist. How can you be PROUD of a trade like that? Barry Block COPIES stories like podiatry COPIES titles from the MD’s. I don’t want to be part of a barrel that has so many rotten apples in it.

If you really took the time to investigate all the above…its all fabricated by Podiatrists, every organization. Now if it said residency at a ACGME residency program and an accredited medical school and a recognized fellowship then you would have real credentials. All this is like having convicted felons approve how jails should be run. By the way how does a member of the BOT of the APMA able to make money of his inventions, oh i guess just like the past presidents of the APMA make money from their little consulting companies etc etc

No insurance company will write a healthcare policy for a pro athlete that allows a DPM to touch them. that sums it up what the real world thinks of Podiatry. ( making orthotics and cutting the pro athletes nails doesn’t count)
