A possible benefit for DPM s
First of all DPM s have a benefit over nurse practitioners. They qualify to spend their money to join the APMA and state societies and attend awesome meetings. They also have the option to go back to school, take out loans and get a nurse practitioner degree to treat the ankle and above in states such as NY and be supervised by a physician. This way they can be non surgical podiatrists as well as nurse practitioners.
