About 15 years ago I was an active member in the AAPPM. Hal Ornstean helped me out quite a bit. In fact he came to my office (on his own dime) to help teach me and my staff how to run the office. I feel terribly bad for Hal, now. I understand he was kicked out of the AAPPM a number of years ago. From what I have heard he may have been playing around with the financials. I would hope that this was not the case. I thought he was very helpful.
