For the last ten years there has been a Podiatry boom period. This has carried over to Podiatry Practices as well. The fact is you had large groups in Podiatry with excess money looking to expand. Combine that with Hospitals and Medical Groups also looking to purchase Podiatry Practices to add to their ever growing list of revenue sources. If you sold your Podiatry practice in the last five to ten years you probably made out like a bandit. There was a ton of competition allowing you to bid up your asking price.
Then came COVID 19 or the Coronavirus, and suddenly the situation of medical groups, podiatry groups and hospital groups are now all struggling to survive. This is going to lead to a glut of Podiatry practices on the market without buyers. Most residents do not want to run a Podiatry Practice straight out of residency or do not have the ability to get financed. Now we add in the fact that COVID 19 is helping to push a lot of Podiatrist into retirement or in some cases death. There are a lot of motivated sellers and very few motivated buyers. This is going to cause there to be a glut of Podiatry practices on the market and thus create a buyer’s market.

For “centrist liberals,”— the MSM, including podiatry’s core audience can bathe (or simmer) in their own fetid juices, beat off to the chortle of their own self-righteous indignation, write funny musak, talk about tales of Tom Hanks Disease valor while donning a mask, do a PR empty… Read more »
Fuck them. They deserve failure. Scum bag hustlers.
Careful don’t overrate them.
Use the classic “New York Technique”. Find a guy who’s selling. Open “across” from him and any potential buyers will lose interest because of the nearby competition for the few foot customers that are out there. You can either get the old guys business for a song or do what they did in Buffalo. Put a Penny Saver ad in saying I’ll be happy to see (or I’ll be seeing) the patients of Dr. X who is SELLING! his practice. Bingo. He’s dead. You’ve killed the competition Right out of the NY City dirty business school of podiatry.
