For the first time in a long time there are a plethora of job possibilities for Podiatrists. As one can see from the PM News classified and the APMA News, the job opps for Podiatrist may never have been more promising. Will this last? Is this a Post Pandemic boom that will slowly dissipate? It’s unclear what will happen but right now, for maybe the first time in five to ten years, the Podiatry applicant appears to have some power.
How can someone stay 20,30,40 plus years in that “field”…..how can they do that day in , day out. Guess the loans, debts, rug rats, blind consumerism, keep up with joneses, fugly spouse, overpriced house, etc.etc..own you. What a “life”.
Some do it because they are uni-dimensional. That is, they don’t know or do anything but work. They are defined and live by their work. No real hobbies or interests. They live to accumulate money, fake plaques, false adulation from those in their cult. They exclude the world to impress their clique. It’s cultural as much as psychological.

There are always more jobs for helpers and technicians. There are fewer opportunities to be the boss (MD).
