According to PM News, Dr. Elliot Udell is a “mentor” serving as a model to students considering a career in podiatry.
This is perfect. In this way students can see the type of low grade idiots that are somehow able to get a “medical degree” and call themselves doctor.
Furthermore, it is likely that they will see that a lifetime of toenails and calluses and confusion and rather simple problems treated await them.
I would suggest that all prospective students spend some time following this cretin.
This will do more to bring the truth to light regarding podiatry than anything “The Podiatry Post” could elucidate.
Also, don’t forget Dr. Udell can also enlighten future Doctors of Podiatric Medicine on whether they should buy or lease a car.
And also discuss the pros and cons of driving an upscale luxury automobile vs. a Chevrolet sedan.

Elliot Udell a mentor ! Really ! Give me a break.
The next thing I will learn is Barry Block is an editor for the Harvard Law Review.
Who the hell falls for his chronic feeble looking pictures, inferiority marketing of being “invited” for some sham fake predatory for pay “journal?” Ooh. Danny Boy types.
Pro: leave podiatry it’s a bad joke.
Con: staying in podiatry
About 12 years ago when I was with Novartis I would go to Dr. Udell’s office with my rep. If I remember correctly his office was in or around Hicksville, New York. He had no employees that I can recall. It was a one doctor office with his mother at the front desk. She was quite elderly then, so she may have passed. If a student was going to shadow Dr. Udell in this day and age it would be like having shadowed a family doctor that worked out of his converted two car garage in the 1960’s.
yes, having shadowed many podiatrists in the 2000s. it was as if one was stepping back in time in old 50s/60s/70s converted houses/garages/etc.. that stale smell/moldy/bad decor/odd floorplans. Nothing updated well or remodelled with classe. It was slap a little paint here and there and do the home cheapo crap. Back to the future. Odd personalities, and they all thought they were hot shit.
One near me had employees leave because he pots and pans to catch leaky roof water!
I see that Elliott Udell has written a paper for Barry on the non-compliant patient. Udell should be an expert on this topic. After all, the average patient exiting his office is thinking “that was the dumbest fucking advice I’ve ever heard. I guess I better go to a real doctor. That chiropodist couldn’t even trim my toenails without leaving shady edges”.
“….likely that they will see that a lifetime of toenails and calluses and confusion and rather simple problems treated await them. ” Truer words have never been said. Idiot Usmell mentoring is like a Typhoid Mary giving ID lectures.
