Just saw a Balance of Nature commercial featuring a Podiatrist recommending it to his patients. Than I found this link

Had a little trouble finding that commercial but I did find complaints of OPTOMETRISTS CALLING THEMSELVES OPTOMETRIC PHYSICIANS. Sound familiar? How often do you hear the lying embellishment of podiatrists calling THEMSELVES PODIATRIC PHYSICIANS??!! OD’s, DPM’s, DC’s are all mostly medical school rejects and none of them are real physicians. The OWNER (another familiar term you hear in podiatry) of Balance of Nature is a CHIROPRACTOR! There’s some confusing history of the chiro going to Russia for “medical training” but it says he never practiced actual medicine ever and he is NOT a Nutritional specialist. Sounds like Armstrong. I guess… Read more »

There were a lot of letters after that guy’s name. Think he’s overcompensating for something?

Eddy, most are using those letters to distract from the meaningless dp-wtf. They’ll also add on LL or PC. They hope the customer never asks that embarrassing question….. are you an MD?! And to answer your question, YES!

There is NO UPSIDE to a limited license in a field where many other healthcare providers can provide the same treatments as a DPM and have a full license. Where the APMA has done NOTHING to secure the future of Podiatry (IMO) Where the ACFAS has changed the direction of Podiatry and not in the right direction.

Gastworth would disagree.

Smiling, Riding elevators-escalaotors with briefcase, photo ops, getting paid ~half a mill per annum, ‘soft ball’ scripted interviews, robotic talking points, eating, sitting in first class, eating, pep talks, staying at lux hotels, and smiling are stressful .

Daniel pays for this voluntarily. Someday, someday.

Holy feces “17”. I read that sick story in “Foot Technician Today”. Here’s a summary of delusion and lies. 1. As you said, meaningless letters after his name: DPM, DABPM, FACPM, FASPS, CWSP. Factor that polynomial out and it cancels all to ZERO (0)! 2. He uses the WORN APMA LINE: As population ages the NEED for pod increases. Evidence? 3. There are NO BUYERS for foot tech practices-TRUE! 4. He says there’s a 37% increase in MD applicants and 77% increase in DO applicants but it’s NOT CLEAR why there’s a DECREASE IN FOOT TECH APPLICANTS. I suggest he… Read more »

If the disease is systemic, “Rosenslum”, podiatrists are FORBIDDEN BY LAW TO TREAT IT. THANKS APMA. THANKS CHASKIN FOR SUPPORTING THE APMA.

Thx Robert. Meant , what podiatry represents to many, becomes a sickness, a disease, as money is their God. Podiatry is seen as a cash register, an atm, a way to step on others for a buck, greed, etc
