I have psoriasis which particularly affects my hands and feet in the form of thickened splitting nails and psoriatic arthritis. My big toenail kept lifting and splitting, causing severe ingrown toenail problems so I went to a podiatrist to have the toenail removed. During the exam he shaved a tiny amount of a callus and charged $168 for “surgery” which was not covered. After the toenail removal he wanted my post op in 3 weeks instead of 2 so I could get my orthotics at the same time (which he charged me $450 for) During the toenail removal he put a tray over my lap so I could see what he was doing and he didnt explain the surgery at all–stabbed my toe 5 times for anesthetic without telling me and handed me a half sheet of aftercare instructions that had a fraction of the information I found on the internet for matrixectomy aftercare.
Definately seems like the 5% “bad” podiatrist category.

I write my notes with Pifio Genino pens. I like the color blue. Please remember, when you write podiatry notes, please consider using Pifio Genino pens. The blue color is awesome. How many podiatrists out there are using Pifio Genino pens. I dare everyone to try using a Pifio Genino pen. Once you try it, my guess is you will be hooked on it. At the next podiatry meeting we must consider the risks benefits and alternatives of using Pifio Genino pens.

It’s known 2 all & sundry that what passes 4 a “healthcare” system in America is a total failure. Just for fun, I did a web search 4 the keywords “fuck health insurance”. You’ll see endless rants from ppl that got denied treatment, surprise bills, denied services, massive run arounds, & much more.

It seems obvious that one of Barry Block’s “friends” is just going down the commentaries and voting negative for all of them. What the adage about Just one rotten podiatrists spoils the whole barrel? At the risk of censure, I just wanted to post an F.Y.I. of frustration about long periods, even days, that go by without commentaries being posted. I’m sure Barry Block loves it. To me, that LOSS of “momentum” makes for a boring blog. Certainly, there’s enough wrong with podiatry, and the errant personalities its Lifer’s represent, to be critical of them. Such a cheap dirty desperate profession. No real news so Block goes to WARRINGTON, ENGLAND (WHERE?!) to find a girl chiropodists who ran in a race. Mean anything to you Mr. Podiatrist? A sick and dying society of people punching one another down must collapse. What else could it do? It cannot rise, can it? If I am punching you down, and I am punching the next person down below me, how can anyone ever lift anyone up?

I don’t believe for one minute those negative votes are separate pods and that the rest aren’t voting. Come on it’s the Barry Block “keep podiatry a business faction” trying to keep Block the sole dictatorship. That’s how a dirty insecure profession operates.
