I’ve maintained that the TERM Podiatric sports medicine is more of an advertising gimmick label than an actual science, and in the latest PODIATRY TODAY the LEAD AUTHOR (Magali Fournier, dp wtf) writing about the best osteotomy “for hallux valgus in athletes” says, HALLUX VALUGUS IN ATHELETES IS NO DIFFERENT THAT IN NON ATHLETES. If podiatry is a legitimate profession, why are there so many fake societies which are mostly Rhetoric with little substance. The acfas ISN’T a real surgical board compared to any MD board and the ASPS isn’t a real surgical board compared to the acfas.
