Greg Ladavotich, I want to personally THANK YOU for a moving and extremely accurate portrayal of podiatry and its future. I sensed many knew this but were reticent to admit it publicly. I often felt alone in “Making it known”. I also want to THANK You for (tangentially) supporting my claim that maintaining a license is mandated and not actual support of the APMA, as was inaccurately referred to by PURPOSEFUL DISTRACTORS. I also appreciate your true depiction of the quality of some of the “students”. There were guys in my class that looked and acted more like they belonged… Read more »

The majority of us posting here were indoctrinated into the P army before the internet of all things. It was an easy sell, based on emotion (desperation) that we could salvage our past failures and still be called “dockter”. By the way, don’t buy a car on emotion… but I digress. I will play devil’s advocate by saying that intellectually back then we probably would’ve figured out that Oz was behind the curtain, but then again that emotion thang comes to play. There was one “student” I remember from my days at PCPM’s SARP (Slow and Retarded People as to… Read more »

Podiatry was largely a fraud. For many, It was a lame excuse for a failed dream (Caddy Pod) and why so many cannot nor will not accept reality.

It’s all about the money Sybly, all about the money. Who/whatever does it the cheapest way wins. That’s why at the end of the day, with the smouldering computer in the background, they’ll see in the printout that the P is not cost effective. That will be it. We are cogs in the machine, worn out, need to be replaced. Why do you think we’re getting humped all the time by third party companies, who work for the insurance companies, to submit chart notes for CCI audits? Because the more dxs the insurances can list, the more they get reimbursed… Read more »

Yeah, a new Single board. Uh, do you have to take an exam to get in or just slide over. How does the real estate of the ACFAS ABPM get divided up? Where does the real estate money go and for that matter what about the MILLIONS IN THE ACFAS BANK ACCOUNT. The mouths are drooling and the hands are out to get a sweet piece of that pie. Someone will come out smelling like freshly minted money. The talk about USMLE 1’s (even though it will be essentially meaningless as far as scope and license are concerned) will act… Read more »

Podiatry Sales Tactics Installment 1: The propagandist barrister takes the advert monies and ‘publishes’ crap: Have sons of “legend” or “hero” DP WTFS selling ways to get your practice/porktice become a ‘raging cash machine’ using an ultra special secret formula for ‘free’ (yah right a lifer podo doing something really for “free”-LOL) ‘5% formula’–do they teach that Hopkins or Cornell? YUP–podiatry practice can be a ‘cash machine’ if you sign up and pay for that course/session or WTF per the smiling jr lifer of the windy shitty Call themselves /call committees “physician” groups, etc. it appeals to all the MD… Read more »

In the 90s, The podiatry school recruiter in Ohio took us all out to schlockigans–fried crap, corporate musak, and boil in bag shit. Like a used car salesman talked about the greatness and amazingness of the world’s most secretive profession-podiatry. Oh, wow, those penises and vaginas were getting stimulated just thinking about being a ‘doctor’ to save face from all those fucking rejections. Those at the table were potential ‘students’–including 2 morbidly obese individuals, a few white guys from the midworst/new yawk shitty, a laquisha, an oriental, and an iranian. We ate the boil in bag “food” the recruiter ordered… Read more »

Yeah, leave it to the “barber” of the foot, the dp-wtf. The PA is too busy looking at chest X rays listening to hearts and reading ECG’s, oh, and writing notes for the NON MD foot barbers to give a trim. Plenary degree for the NON MD.

What’s the dealeo? I see this several times a week. And a few times, far, far worse (film at 11). Funny how they respond to simple debridement. I never had to remove any of them. If you’re a good podbusinessman, you gotta look at the big pitcha- having them come back (and so on) will far surpass what you’d get for a matrixectomy. Yeah, yeah…see Mugsey? That’s how you make the BIG bucks!
But look at grandpa’s fingernails… they’re longer than the toenails! Don’t go there wtf, you’re outta your territory.

Meet at the Sheraton Inn and eat a lot on foot dues and fees. The big pictah is very very important. Make sure your name ends in vowels, you like fettucinni, speak very CONfidently, and you’re at least 80 -100 pounds overweight. dp wtf. DONT cut grand paps finger nails that’s against the law!

I’ve made this observation before. There seems to an inordinately large number of cars and trucks crashing into podiatrists offices. Many such incidents have been reported. Why is that? Is it because many pods have STORE FRONT OFFICES AT STREET LEVEL or are drivers distracted perhaps by garish foot signs? Maybe its the MD orthopedic surgeons trying to eliminate the competition? Alan Sherman likes one board (as if that will NOT differentiate sx and non sx) just like the present boards do. He says, of course, we need more studies to find curriculum deficiencies and make the wtf’s take the… Read more »

Robert you bring an interesting pt. Why is there such a disproportionate amount of vehicles crashing into podiatry offices? Is it another insurance scam, pissed off customer (AKA: “patient”), orthopod anger, a jealous DP WTF, a fugly partner who didnt get enough baloney pony, a former footsy “dean”?

Perhaps the nerd barrister can explain this since that silly shoe rag loves posting pics of post-crash scenes.

Finally the truth about what podiatrists really do more of than “surgery”. I wonder if he’s going to bill Onychectomy or MATRIXECTOMY? The little NaOH (to stop bleeding?) doesn’t strike me as sufficient for a Matrixectomy code. Yeah, I’d like to see the code used. 7 years to do that? Do you think a PA COULDN’T do that?

What PA would want to?
