in 2019, there were 817 total applicants to 9 Podiatry school. There were 53,429 applicants to Medical school. The GPAs and MCAT scores of Podiatry school applicants are not even close to that of medical school applicants. Plus..who would go to Podiatry school for 7 years and have a limited license in the this new healthcare era where you NEED a full license. Plus Podiatry residencies are not ACGME approved.
