Well, according to Amazon we could be getting a new McGlamry’s Comprehensive textbook of foot and ankle surgery. It appears the book is slated to be released in May of this year. You can pre-order them now apparently for the price of only $400. Now there is a chance that I am reading this wrong, but I doubt it. So I would suggest you not purchase any old McGlamry textbooks until the new one comes out. I would imagine there will be CD rom and all the other bells and whistles that most surgery textbooks have to come out with today. This textbook is generally considered the bible of Podiatric surgery.
It will be interesting how they update the book for this release and if there are any changes to the format as the media landscape is greatly different than it was 25-30 years ago.
