Well the vote is in. Dr. Brian Carpenter, an open critic of alleged business as usual at ACFAS, was elected to the ACFAS BOD.
Not being active at ACFAS, I have no understanding if Dr. Carpenters concerns regarding the ACFAS are legitimate.
We DO know that he participated in the TALAR MEDICAL / NOLARO24 seminar in Texas. We DO know that he ran for the BOD with a Trumpesque “reform agenda“..………
Here is what we also DO know. ACFAS allowed him to run. That is more than the APMA would have allowed.
If you dare to raise any objection to that group of heathens, your genitals are cut off faster than you you can ban a critic from speaking at an APMA meeting.
Say what you will, Mahaffey allowed the election to proceed, something Christina and the rest would have crushed.

I concur with the previous post. Mahaffey and his board of industry whores who join the board to become consultants and speakers for industry $$$$. If you look at the current board they are all young, inexperienced, have little academic respect and this is because Mahaffey’s hand picks them because he knows he can control them/intimidate them. They all lose their own identity upon taking the oath to support him and go against what they know is right for the organization. Mahaffey did not allow the election to happen and from what I have been told did all he could to stop him from being on the ballot. He collected signatures to run by petition, he got mine, and Mahaffey changed policies during the election process but got beat at his own game. I am assured that the ACFAS current board members have had may lies told them by Mahaffey on Carpenter but he will destroy Mahaffey. Nothing changes in podiatry. This is simply more window dressing. Anyone with an IQ >35 knows this. Podiatry creates magical dreams and someday bullshit to sell to their minions. That way, freedom/hope/somedays is just around the corner. YAH RIGHT!
