How to sell more orthotics via Ann and Sarah.
How to sell moore Mooreon Balance Braces via LER.
How to sell more wound care products via Dr. Mooreon.
How to bill for Amerigel via Future Executive Director Jeffrey.
Oh, and sell more bull shit equinus braces via Puncha Puncha Pat the Podiatric pugilist.
Yes. These are the ads running this week. Sell. Sell. Sell.
That is podiatry CME.
Did you notice all the unfilled residency positions this year ? Anybody gets one. Can you imagine the pinheads that are being taught to cut ? Anybody notice the pods in PM News ? Looks like the Middle East delegation to the UN.
Maybe the word is out.
Podiatry is now nothing more than one big hustle ………. Thank you APMA. Thank you for all you have done and not done. Omission and commission. The end is nigh.

As a current 2nd year Podiatry student, I started to smell something is not right. Too many statements made at the school without facts. I did apply to MD/DO school and did not get one interview so now at Podiatry School (I realized this year, its NOT Podiatric Medical school) I started to inquire about PA school. NO DICE. They do not recognize Podiatry school curriculum. NOT one course is transferrable. Looking at Caribbean and Mexico medical schools now and will go in a flash if accepted
I think you’ll be ok. You caught the con in time. Continue applying to CARIB AND P.A. programs. Look into ST James if you can’t score Ross or St. George . Even if you take a year off from pod school to go great guns trying to score a FMG school I’m sure pod would take you back, and losing a year in pod is insignificant but worth taking the chance. Unless you really like mechanical things like orthotics and braces and manual debriding (nails and skin) you probably won’t be happy. You’d better like to work with your hands… Read more »
Ann and Sarah started out with an idea. They were going to run a service to alert you to various podiatry and other meetings that you could attend. They also seem to have had the idea that they could assist you in maximizing the benefits, such as they were, while attending these meetings. Obviously this did not work out. You should realize that there are over 200 podiatry seminars, local and regional and national every year. This did not work out or did not make the money. Now they have gone into a variation of the crap performed by Presents… Read more »
See the difference between the pods and the MD’s, AGAIN?
Ann and Sarah are turds that just won’t flush along with pay for a tour weilly Boyz from the windy shitty
Aaah, yup. pay for a tour of their office. WTF?! Hu$tlers
Personal opinions:
They seem to be happy because I believe they are smiling.
When others help inform podiatrists about meetings, this is a valuable service for our profession podiatry. It is a joyful experience to help others.
They probably are out to inform podiatrists
About meetings. We should consider thanking them for trying to help us.
Please look again at their site and see how wonderful it is.
Opinions only
Are you still here? I thought the authorities got you by now.
The authorities in New Jersey allow me and every other licensed podiatrist to call themselves podiatric physicians and treat the ankle.
Robert, please remember it is so important to smile and be happy. Hope you have a wonderful day.
Hey Guys ! Lets do what Podiatry did and make cash ! We start with the hand. We make a “professional school” for just the hand. We teach medical and surgical treatment of the hand. It would be a limited license. Advertise with pictures of students with scrubs on, stethoscopes and surgery. ( the Triple S advertising campaign). Have clinics at the schools to cut finger nails and treat ingrown nails. Charge BIG tuition because you will be a doctor ( DHM, Doctor of hand medicine). There will be plenty of 2.6 GPA students applying. Then we create ” residencies”.… Read more »
Perfect analogy of what the New Yawk quack school did to start a business and develop it into a franchise. The absurdity of a hand specialist is not lost when comparing to the INVENTION OF A NON M.D. FOOT SPECIALIST. It was a CON from the beginning based on a LIE that the MD doesn’t know anything about the foot and people were losing limbs and tripping over themselves so some CARING ALTRUISTIC SCIENTIST decided to make a foot school. This LIE IS STILL BEING PERPETRATED to this day. The shame is there is no indication that the TRADE sees… Read more »
M in DPM is for Money, These guys took a nip and chip profession that was in the shadows of real medicine and tried to make it respectable, but greed took over and lack of foresight and strategic planning along with the overabundance of ego killed it. They can advertise for students for the Podiatry colleges all they want and give all the scholarships they want, it will not do any good. Heath Insurance companies along with FULL license mid-level providers have basically shut down Podiatry. Lesson learned…GREED plus EGO plus low IQ KILLED Podiatry
Greed + Ego + low IQ = 0 Podiatry. Excellent. You’ve discovered the “EQUATION OF EVERYTHING” (that’s wrong with podiatry)
Have marketing/propaganda glossies showing DHM students rubbing elbows with orthopods love training DHM students—smiling pictures, scrub sink shot, thumbs up shot,—- you—a docta!
Surgical TECHNICIANS ALSO scrub up with orthopods. A pod can be likened to an “advanced practice surgical technician”. I’m sure many OPTOMETRISTS think they’re Doctors too. I was once on a ship sitting with some couples. As is the case, people queried what each other did. When I asked one Gentleman he said, ” I’m an Eye Specialist”. I said, Oh, an ophthalmologist? He sheepishly said, I’m an O.D.. I could tell he realized he was “caught”. That’s why I simply say “PODIATRIST”, WITH NO FURTHER EMBELLISHMENTS. It’s more honest and saves a lot of wriggling and “REDMAN’S SYNDROME”. (Hey… Read more »

No more explaning the foot and sometimes ankle surgeon nonsense…I am a podiatrist. Easy ,peasy. No one says, I am a vagina specialist, or a brain specialist. In sum, JUST BE HONEST MR. PODIATRIST. You say podiatry is the most wonderful overlooked medical profession that exists so why embellish it? Explain how the LIFERS can be trusted when on one hand they give each other plaques, back slaps, and the secret, only we know biomechquactics, handshake and on the other hand PURPOSELY ELIMINATE THE WORD PODIATRY? Ask that big board of EXTORTION, THE ABFAS, WHY THEY DROPPED THE WORD PODIATRY? How DISINGENUOUS. How DISHONEST. How MISLEADING. How PSCHOPATHOLOGICAL. Podiatrists only seem to use the word podiatrist amongst themselves, but when IN THE R.O.W. they’re foot surgeons, foot… Read more »
MORE BAD NEWS FOR PODIATRY. A recent “Kevin MD” commentary questioned whether MD’s stop using the DOCTOR title because it has been co-opted, diluted, and weakened by so many NON MD’s using it to confuse the PUBLIC. He recommends several things to separate the MD’s from the fakes. He uses the term INDEPENDENT PRACTIONER (I.P.) to indicate the provider does NOT NEED PERMISSION OR REVIEW BY A HIGHER AUTHORITY. That is, the I.P. IS the higher authority. He suggests that the public ask the provider, “ARE YOU LICENSED TO WORK INDEPENDENTLY”? How would you answer that to your simple TOENAIL… Read more »
Yes, the term, “doctor” has and is misleading currently. There’s so many “health” “professionals” that use that term– “doctor” plus other fields. I like the idea of I.P. post real doctor MD /DO name that way the public can be protected against and or make informed decisions if and when they might see a podiatrist.
The shysters usually put Dr in front of their name to hide, obsfucate, etc.that they’re a dp wtf. the patient, nurses, others are led to believe they’re an MD.
It’s willfull misrepresentation.
“WILLFUL MISREPRESENTATION”. Nicely put. What kind of a trade willfully misrepresents? A crooked trade. A dishonest trade. A trade run with MONEY and EGO as its pillars. Welcome to podiatry.
Who is Ann and Sarah?

Re: Sarah and Ann: Another money making BUSINESS SPIN OFF FROM PODIATRY. A former arch support marketing director and a seminar middleman(woman). How typical of podiatry: “ten toes marketing” How cutesy.
More evidence of the collusion between manufacturers and podiatrists. Interesting that “Sarah” refers to us as the podiatry INDUSTRY!
I say, Get a real job. Too many use podiatry for money more than medicine and proof that podiatry SEMINARS are money makers as much as educational events.
Just look at their faces. So typical.
Why don’t they hire horneysteins nephew chad Swartz and the breathy oriental -white washed girlfriend? Didn’t they do podiatry marketing – sales pitches with those lame blue screens narrations?
Hi I’m Dr Clitoria. If you or a loved one is suffering from a foot or ankle tada yada bullshit. Call me see me now!
– They all repeated the same script.
So friggin embarrassing.
No wonder very few people take dpwtfs seriously

Thanks one runs ten toes marketing . That name makes me feel secure with them!???
Thx—they’re trade show hucksters. And look exactly how I envisioned them.
Who is Chasskins? And why does he still support/defend the people that fuck him? Stop simping.
Mewling quims? Dodgy crones? A pair of hookers working for T. Spine Hallucis, Designated Pimp Master?
Carnival barkers—they maybe can help recruit future simpleton cuck like Danny Boys to live decades hoping and believing….hope in 1 hand, shit in the other
Ann and Sarah are two girls in business to sell seminars to foot techs.. Here’s an example of one of their DOCTORAL seminar: “HOW TO BEAT THE GOOD FEET STORE AND AMAZON AND SUBSTANTIALLY INCREASE YOUR ORTHOTIC DISPENSING” (sales) Pods are WORRIED ABOUT GOOD FEET STORE COMPETITION. WHY? BECAUSE PODIATRY ISN’T REALLY MEDICINE. It’s at best a Medical Business. Now that’s a medical seminar right? Podiatry MUST distance itself away from braces and arch supports. Codes, regulations, sales, Mr. Richie siding with REAL ORTHOTISIST AND PROSTHETISIST HAPPY THAT DROP SHIPPING WON’T BE ALLOWED MY MEDICARE. Where’s the medicine? There are… Read more »
Personal opinions only: Wait a second. Stop right there Robert. Most podiatrists are worried about their patients well being. Amazon is usually cheaper. I feel it is best to use Amazon to have patients purchase products so that patients save money. I thought most podiatrists think this way. Not only try to help their patients but to also save them money. You see, this builds up goodwill, trust and likely patients will be happy and recommend their friends to come to your office. This is what practicing podiatry is all about. Helping others. The one drawback, it is hard to… Read more »
Someone call a Doctor. Mr. Chasskin is having some issues yet again.
Socialize with others who PAY THE APMA. WHY? They’re mentally damaged too if they support the APMA.
Also, who put the BUSINESS INTO YOUR BRAIN? What does being a “dr” have to do with guiding people to AMAZON?! There is absolutely no reason to deviate from medicine. There’s enough to do and think about without being a middleman for Amazon.
Poor Mr. Chaskin. YOU JUST DON’T GET IT. You really are a NEW YAWK CITY TYPE PODIATRIST.
1. Robert, I remember they were smiling at the NYSPMA meetings. They welcome others to pay dues and join them. Smiling is one of the signs of being happy. This one reason I can think of to join the APMA to smile, socialize with other podiatrists and have some fun.
2. Instead of selling items to patients why not suggest the buy similar products for their individualized podiatric conditions at Amazon to save the patient money, as well as help them?
Happy patients refer others to your practice. It is called goodwill.
Remember, if one smiles it is contagious.

Are you ok? Seriously, there are social and psych programs that can help you.
You can’t say I’m wrong! Podiatry is a screwed up NON MEDICAL TRADE. Proof is found in ads selling equipment for podiatrists TO MAKE MONEY OFF THEIR CUSTOMERS like, “CUTTING EDGE” LASER. They call it a NOVEL approach. Forget NOVEL, how about some standard of care approaches? Gordon Labs wants you TO BE THEIR SALESMAN AND SELL THEIR PRODUCTS IN YOUR OFFICE. They CON YOU by saying you’re “DISPENSING”. BULL EXCREMENT! You’re their LOCAL SALESMAN working off a “cut”, PERIOD. “SURE FIT SHOES” doesn’t think you’re a DOCTOR. They say if you SELL THEIR SHOES you can “GENERATE EXTRA INCOME”.… Read more »
What do you mean where is Podiatry headed? Few applicants to the Podiatry colleges and low reimbursement for Podiatry services with a huge debt for graduating students, I would say it is all done.
When you have to buy students to fill a class at Podiatry School, when you have to hire a marketing company to get students, when you tell students at an interview they will make big money as surgeons, when in 2023 there is still a mystery about what Podiatry is, when you see all the podiatry practices for sale, when you finished your three year “preceptorship” and all you get is a job as an employee with an ortho group getting around 150 K, when PAs and NPs who have a full license are doing foot and ankle care, when… Read more »

$100,000 to $150000 I thought was big money.
11 yrs + of training and schooling and

But there’s an ass for every seat Daniel. And you’re sitting in one
My opinion is if I were graduating from college, I would apply to be an NP because graduating podiatric medical school might be problematic if one cannot get licensed to practice podiatry.
Based on your long history of aberrant thinking I seriously question your ability to complete an NP program.
Mr chaskinn, you’re correct. NO ONE in their right mind would apply for an pay >$325,000 for podiatric training school. can’t give an evidenced based argument why it’s a viable degree…unless your family is in it and/or you have wealthy spouse. NP, RN, PA are real degrees that are in demand and can help one live and MAINTAIN a middle class lifestyle.
So, why do you still support the people/orgs that fucked you mr chaskinn? Opinions are like assholes—everyone has 1 and they stink.
Podiatry is headed toward the titanic wreck. Pay 250K$ for the billionaire ride to be vaporized and sanitized.
Those with IQs>85 know it’s based on: hubris, greed, hyper capitalism, hustling, huckstering, in sum, it’s a shit show. They’re feckless.
Patrick DeHeer (ie. puncha de face), clearly DOES NOT “get it”. Very foolish lifer with the misleading blog he wrote in Podiatry Today.
He has nothing to be proud of, yet he is proud.
Even Ray, from Ray’s Trash Removal Service, made a fool out of the DeHeer family.
Big “surgeon” loses to a GARBAGE MAN! Not that smart are you Mister?
First of all they are sanitation engineers!
My opinion is
Any profession can be used to help generate money to keep a failing podiatry practice financially open for business.
Puncha da face “has” to believe.
It’s all he’s got.
The DeHeer family LOST this case : https://www.wastedive.com/news/indiana-court-says-rays-trash-service-not-liable-for-customers-cart-relat/424067/
Waste of a life and garbage person in a rubbish field.
Where is podiatry headed? The end zone but not touchdown!
Podiatry is going NOWHERE. JUST AS IT HAS FOR THE LAST HALF CENTURY! More minor nonsense and arguing. Podiatrist ZICHER MAN wrote a tomb on toenails. Paragraph after paragraph defending the definition of a toenail avulsion. He even went into the Histo-anatomy of the matrix and why Medicare doesn’t PAY correspondingly. I suspect this ACUTE CONCERN over toenail payment has hit him personally in some way. That it’s money related seems clear when he asks, how can we make a decision about patient CARE without a clear understanding behind the Medicare guidelines? Translated: How do we know what to do… Read more »

Where else can you get millions from dolts, pay yourselves 300-550k salaries and benefits, fly first class, eat expenses meals, stay in deluxe hotels, gavel clank, answer softball msm style propaganda interviews, and ride an elevator with plastic briefcase whilst smiling?
I believe the briefcase that Glenn Gastwirth use to carry was made of pleather. And he was always smiling and walking around “looking” busy.
Podiatry and “fraud” seem to go together in action and personalities. Dear Students, Be careful. RE-examine what you’re getting into. The “dream” of being “part of the hospital”, and an integral part of the mainstream is a PURPOSEFUL ILLUSION constructed to keep you producing INCOME FOR PODIATRY. (4 years of tuition money and 3-4 more years of Govt. MONEY as an apprentice). Once you can no longer produce serious money they say “we never said we guarantee success”. Nevertheless, the shifty money mongrels of podiatry still extract the shekels through APMA DUES, BOARD DUES, SEMINAR FEES etc.. Podiatry has always… Read more »
There has gotta be a good reason to join the NYSPMA.
Good reason to pay the NYSPMA? Not if your SANE AND SECURE BUT DEFINITELY IF YOUR INSECURE, NOT TOO BRIGHT, AND DAMAGED FROM REJECTION. (whether that’s Medical Rejection or that’s “residency program rejection, Mr. Chaskin) Secure men DON’T PAY!
Opinions only
Perhaps generations from now the NYSPMA might try and attempt to allow for license reciprocity. For example if a podiatrist is licensed to treat the ankle in New Jersey And Florida, they should qualify for the same scope of license o treat the ankle in NYS.
Hope in the progress of increasing scope for those who are licensed to treat the ankle in other states to have the same scope of practice in NYS.
Disclaimer This might take generations to occur if it occurs at all.
Yes, the reason is mental illness that needs treatment by a licensed MD psychiatrist or PhD clinical psychologist.
What would be a good reason to support people /orgs that screw you? Are you doormatting again?
Mental illness.
I understand the reviling of the POD POST by students, residents, and recently hired technicians. Of course their trajectory is FIXED. They have to fly through the turbulent storm and they need someone to vent on. It’s a normal psychological defense to blame others. Haters and malcontents are the “ad hominins” usually used. They were warned, but they probably already passed the point of “no return” so rationalization and blame deferral is to be expected. Like parents who warned their children “not to go there” all that can be done after the fact is to mitigate what’s left. You’re in… Read more »
Chaskin— what do thk of Mr Bijak’s evidence based argument w/facts and realities?
My opinion is that Roberts comments might not necessarily relate to an older podiatrist that graduated in the 1980’s who is interested in basic podiatric medical treatment of feet. This includes there not being any fear of not being able to become licensed, being able to hang a shingle up and have patients walk in, and not having HMO’s around since they did not exit. I would not give those early years up for anything because of all the patients that I helped. I am still trying to think of reasons to join the NYSPMA. However, if I were graduating… Read more »
WTF! Another stupid statement. ck this guys mental status please.
I feel he has not spoken too positively about me when I express differences of opinions. Instead of being critical of me it would be helpful for him to realize we all are out there with one common goal. That goal is to fight foot pain, disease and suffering. If we were nurse practitioners we could also have a larger anatomic scope of practice in NYS. My opinion is there has gotta be a good reason to join the NYSPMA and I am trying to figure out a good reason to do so. One advantage is that one can meet… Read more »
You pay and support the APMA THEN ASK US FOR A REASON WHY YOU DO SO?! And you wonder why you’re not spoken about positively?! Will someone get this guy some help? Please, Mr. M.D.’s, not all podiatrists are THIS damaged. This is definitely Barry Block territory.
There might be a reason why some podiatrists still belong to the NYSPMA that I am missing. Still trying to figure this out. Nothing is wrong in asking others for advice. The more questions I ask encourage others to participate and come up with ideas that I may not have thought of. Seth is kind enough to publish my ideas and questions. He even lets me provide a link to http://www.journalofdermoscopy.com
Another question, is membership in the NYSPMA going up or down?
That you are “still trying to figure this out” after 30 years is PROOF you should be examined for mental competence to treat people. You’ve been GIVEN THE ANSWER TO THE TEST and YOU STILL CAN’T FIGURE OUT WHAT TO DO! I think that crowding sardine can called New Yawk city causes mental damage.
Robert, the NYSPMA provides an opportunity to meet other podiatrists, seeing old classmates, socializing and having fun. Having fun is part of enjoying our lives.
Being happy is so important. There might be other reasons to join the NYSPMA I may have not yet seen yet.

My personal opinions are:
A reasonable path for all podiatrists to treat the
ankle in all states if not present now, may possibly exist generations from now.
Reciprocity for ankle license between states should be available. If one can treat the ankle in New Jersey and Florida they should automatically be able to do so in any other state.
Joining state societies may not currently help achieve this but it might occur generations from now.
Disclaimer opinions only
Wrong again Mr. Chaskin! You never qualified for any program let alone a sx. program, and even more distant, the training to touch an ankle. So, being able to touch an ankle in a STATE appears to be POLITICAL more than medical. Otherwise, YOU WOULDN’T be allowed to touch the ankle in NJ. If you’re incompetent in NY you’re incompetent in NJ and the rest of the world. It’s the APMA’S FAILUE, ALONG WITH THE QUACK COLLEGES FAILURE, TO EDUCATE. THAT FAILURE IS WHY IT IS FOOLISH TO SUPPORT THE APMA AND/OR THE QUACK COLLEGES. By supporting them you give… Read more »

Ever hear of the FIRST AMENDMENT MISTER CHASKIN? Why are you SO FEARFUL OF BEING SUED OVER WHAT YOU SAY that you qualify everything you write? Who’s been threatening or frightening you? Barry Block? A cult of podiatric politicians? Or, are you naturally easily frightened?
