More than one of my patients were helped by this approach. Correct targeted antibiotic powder based on a lab report was useful to my patients. Other than Amniox used in the case of gangrenous toes, the economic drawback is that expensive DME reimbursed dressings are not being billed out. Then again, if patients are helped, this is most important.

Thanks Seth. I can clear this up. They billed over 7,000 Sanexcs device ( electrical stimulation) and vitamin injections for 187,000.00 dollars. They explain it was biller fault and mistake..
Absolutely correct, Sybly. They blame it all on the 3rd party biller.
Blame the victim. I didn’t know Vitamin injections were quack! I didn’t know these e- devices were “just like” TENS UNITS! I’m a podiatrist. I don’t know anything. When the sales girl showed us how much money we could make our minds went blank to everything else.
How about a beverage style dispenser machine in the waiting room that instead of dispensing drinks, it dispenses orthotics? Sell sell sell
Dear “Collision Center”,
Would recommend B and J’s body shop. Ask for Tyrone. He’ll get you a smooth and sleek BBC rigid unit for only $4999 + tax + gratuities.
Hey, I know I’m monopolizing but I have the time and motivation to change podiatry by exposing it. I must comment on the SOS article about failing podiatry schools. It’s so telling, in that NO ONE ADDRESSES THE LIMITATIONS, DUPLICITY, AND QUACKERY IN PODIATRY. Instead, the DEAN (of the NY quack franchise), TREPAL, blames others instead of HIMSELF. He calls OUR commentaries SPURIOUS. WEBSTER’S defines “SPURIOUS as, FALSE, ILLEGITIMATE, COUNTERFEIT, NOT GENUINE. IF TREPAL WASN’T LYING he would provide a counter to our observations but he never has, nor have any podo lifers. Of course, they can’t because what we… Read more »
Regarding, Trepal, et al. “It is difficult to get a man to understand something when his salary depends upon his not understanding it.”

Maybe hired consultant Davey Greens (agree Robert, might be related somehow to some charlatan in the podiatric incestual-neponomics klub) can offer in addition to suturing salesmanshit, intermediate school, high schools kids and even 3rd rate college debtors can be intrigued with long toe nails, stinky feet, socks, sneakers, shoes with teeth, and ways to not walk on hot tar during the sum sum summertymes. Whadda thk?
I encourage all readers to check out http://www.dermoscopy.coffeecup.com and decide for yourselves about the advantages of a podiatrist using Dermoscopy to provide additional information about structures and patterns invisible to the naked eye. Such information in many cases results in better informed decision making.
Perpetrating a FRAUD ON THE PUBLIC! SHOULD LOSE HIS LICENSE AND BE SUED PERSONALLY.
Who is reposting some of my previous comments?
Please check out the powerpoint presentation at http://www.dermoscopy.coffeecup.com
Please understand that TRUTH AND LOGIC is not complete by only relying upon the location of one’s office. It is the quality of care that is given. Only emphasizing negative points is not truth and logic and full disclosure.
YOU JUST CAN’T STOP SELLING CAN YOU, YOU NYC PODIATRIST? An elderly foot technician working in a NYC slum with bars on his office windows, desperately looking for attention by fraudulently feigning expertise after reading a few books and going to a few MD lectures. SAD, MISLEADING, PROBABLY A NEUROSIS. Love that big ADVERTISEMENT ON YOUR OFFICE Mr. Chaskin: PODIATRIST!! YOU make me ASHAMED of podiatry. Your location. Your bars on the window. Your non authoritative site ARE sufficient disclosure of TRUTH and COMMON SENSE about what lies inside. “These are my personal opinions”. “Hope you’re well.”
My opinions: A picture or pictures tell a thousand words. Not responding and failing to ask the readership to check out the powerpoint presentation at http://www.dermoscopy.coffeecup.com and to form their own conclusions is not being totally honest and transparent! Please understand that TRUTH AND LOGIC is not complete by only relying upon the location of one’s office. It is the quality of care that is given. Only emphasizing negative points is not truth and logic and full disclosure. By the way, as far as selling goes, the use of a dermatoscope is not seperately reimbursable. I am selling the idea… Read more »

More proof podiatry is not a serious profession anymore. How about podiatrist RUMBERG along with Barry Block showing pictures of SHOES WITH TEETH! IF podiatry was a serious needed mainstream specialty, you wouldn’t need names like Instep, Gotham or any of the many attention getting names that ONLY BUSINESSES USE. DOCTORS, REAL DOCTORS, JUST PUT M.D. after their name and that’s enough. So, stupid podiatrists CAN’T SEE why Barry Block’s PARTNER, PODIATRY MANAGEMENT needs to have an article CRYING ABOUT PODIATRY’S DECLINE. That’s DECLINE, while IMG’s, PA’S, and NP’s are thriving and growing. Podiatry REFUSES TO ACCEPT THE FACT THAT… Read more »
Robert, don’t forget surfer bro Spare Rib in Batty bloch’s propaganda “news” with the pink shirt and goofy glasses to appear “smart”. His advice is to remain “positive” and “enthusiastic”. Easy for him to say post boat incident where he made out like a bandit and has /had a concubine MD.
BTW again, Which surgical speciality did those calcanei fractures? ooopps….
Why don’t real MD orthopedic surgeons have such a thing as REAR FOOT BOARDS? Only DIRTY PODIATRISTS, WHO TRY TO DECREASE COMPETITION WITHIN THEIR SMALL SCOPE DO. At it’s heart PODIATRY IS JUST A BUSINESS DESIGNED PRIMARILY TO MAKE MONEY FOR THE PODIATRIST. The patient is a tool to make money.
Any dentists out there that are only incisor certified versus molar certifications?!?!
Some oral surgeons are mandible certified vs. maxilla certified. Kinda like foot vs. rra.
See, we ARE “JUST LIKE”…….DENTISTS.
The patient is not a tool to make money. If a patient has no money and no insurance some podiatrists would take the time to help them.
After all podiatrists take oaths to help their patients.
Define: “Some podiatrists” Mr. Chaskin. Compare your term “some” vs. your term “all” in the last sentence. Doesn’t make sense, does it, Mister?
Agree Daniel. The patient is a patient, a human being. YCertainly not a tool for money, however, many dmps do see them as ATMs. You are a rare bird and may take the time etc…but you’re an exception amigo. Just look at pod mismanagement propaganda rag that you write into regularly. Why? Do you thk the average pody would really take the liability to diagnose, treat, etc. for free? What “oath”–the podiatrickal theatrickal “oath” of silly shoes and 50 ways to code a bunion?! Look how often pods are sued and audited. Money is the mantra of foot doctors and… Read more »
Pod post is informative and helpful regarding some information provided. I am being permitted to post about podiatric dermoscopy etc…
Thank you Seth
If you are going to go into podiatry STATISTICS SHOULD BE A PREREQUISITE. Not for any scientific reason but to CALCULATE THE PROBABILITY OF “GETTING CAUGHT” when trying to “pull a fast one” PODIATRIST TEICHMAN and ROCCHIO are “alleged” to have “misbilled” 7,000 times! Podiatrists are warned: Providers should not BLINDLY rely on marketers or medical billing services regarding getting legally paid for a “service”. The pods mixed something called ELECTRICAL STIMULATION WITH VITAMIN INJECTIONS TO TREAT NEUROPATHY. Do podiatrist ever learn about standard of care? No. Not standard of slippery care by other podiatrists but what mainstream MD DOCTORS… Read more »
http://www.dermoscopy.coffeecup.com Click the power point presentation on dermatoscopic wound care a term I thought of. The use of a dermatoscope regarding wound care. The toes were osetomyelitic with MSRA and the vascular specialist and infectious disease specialist were recommending a transmetatarsal amputation. This likely would not heal since the patient had a coagulation necrosis would likely result in a below knee amputation. Using my idea of targeted Zyvox powder, gentian violet solution, some amniox and offloading this healed the toes and gave the appearance of the third to becoming longer. See the pictures and judge for yourself. The location of… Read more »
Chaskin keeps repeating his study of 1. Mr. Chaskin, it’s not scientifically valid to consider repeating the same one study as if it were multiple studies. However, after reading your comments I wouldn’t expect you to understand the science.
It’s an n of 1. Means jack shit. Also the presentation quality appears low like that of a high school -community college project, not a serious biomedical scientist. Personal opinion only…LOL
No one cares or is listening to you Mister Chaskin. We know you’ve had a lot of rejection and are trying to find something to show you have some value….. but you’re not succeeding. Try Barry Block’s site. Maybe next to one of his perverted SHOE PICTURES.
Vying for relevance, many dp wtfs tried very hard to deal with their inner family toil, dysfunction, and pain. And that relevance “vehicle” was podiatry. Generally, Just like depression leads to comedy and narcissism leads musicians.
Bronx cheer from the previous topic is listening. If you check the post by Bronx cheer, there is a poster on podiatry post that is listening. As far as the comment that even a blind squirrel gets a nut, it is actually the podiatrist who is debriding a wound that is blind to the missing structures and patterns invisible to the naked eye. My point is I am not the best I can be without the proper instrumentation when performing wound care. Dermoscopy has a place in podiatric wound care. “There may be some merit to the Chaskin procedure using… Read more »
If what you said was TRUE, MR. CHASKIN, IT WOULD BE THE REQUIRED STANDARD OF CARE, BUT IT’S NOT. Someone taught you to think the minority should be the majority. You’re trying to make the world conform to your view. Sorry, the REAL world doesn’t work that way. See someone.
It takes time for the standard of care to change. This is especially problematic if dermoscopy is not separately reimbursable, yet helpful for patients.
Mr Chaskins you’re an inmate in a pedal colony. (paraphrasing Eddy).
I have had a lot of success in having a wonderful family friends and patients. There is life outside podiatry. I might consider moving to Florida and practice podiatry there part time. Perhaps Florida is a wonderful place to practice.
Doesn’t Fl require that one has done a residency? Maybe you can get your picture in Barry Block’s prejudiced blog when you “pass with a pair of pes in your hands”. I don’t think Fl podiatrists want to be lectured on why THEY should be using a Dermoscope.
They will not let you practice in Florida closed shop ..
YEAH, VERY CULTISH. BEEN CLOSED FOR MANY DECADES. It’s more of a retirement home for NYC pods.
Robert, how could Florida be closed?
Wait a second. Who says it’s a closed shop? Florida is very welcoming for experienced podiatrists.
Florida is the land of retired pods waiting for the 4:30P supper special. Unaware of the status on collision centers.
This music is very welcoming. It;s touching, sensitive, and a bit comical. Helps with the day.

Thank you so much. Ya just made my day. Download it burn it on a cd and play it in your car. Appreciate you spreading the word about Bye Bye Sunny, Hello Roxy.
I believe Florida accepts 10 years of experience in lieu of podiatry residency training. All that one generally needs to to pass board exams.
NYS however does not accept experience in practice and passing of board exams if one did not complete a certified residency program.
FL is the land of left blinker blinking into eternity and God’s waiting room. Might be a good option to move there and don’t do podiatry. It is a mostly closed shop
A closed shop? I thought for older experienced podiatrists without formal residency training Florida was much easier to get licensed when compared to such unfair states such as NYS?
It is age discrimination for a state to require residency training for an older experience d podiatrist who because of his older age did not have access to such training. I got licensed in Florida. I intend to practice there.
Next, up the zelinskyy regime
