The concept of RELATIVITY is important. From a Podiatry standpoint, podiatry’s accomplishments are stellar. From an M.D., P.A. perspective, podiatry is JUST ANOTHER NON PHYSICIAN GROUP pantomiming a real DOCTOR. Perhaps the adulations given for E. Kern hospital is founding podiatry institution. One few places surgery done by podiatrists in 70’s. But, to help get cases they took homeless off streets and gave they warm place and meals. In return they got operated on.

In many metro cities, podiatrists are so desperate they’re leaving spots open and trying to see new patient calls same day (even for MCR/MCA average or below payers). They simply don’t want to lose those to the pod down the street, particularly the ingrowns and DME and stuff that still pays fair. …in real MD/DO world, DDS world, etc, then the insurance corporations cut or mitigate crap payers and there are enough good payers visits.
