Yes, our observations have yielded similar conclusions. There’s a bizarre social conditioning and/or psychosis (loss of contact w/reality) that is expressed with dp wtfs. Many are in a state of denial, delirium, and delusion that they’re “doctors” that they’re “needed”, that they’re “integral member” of the health team etc.etc… It is mental illness because to deny reality is to deny the truth 2 inches from their big noses.
State Education Depts. and State Legislatures need to RE-EVALUATE podiatry and it’s need in their states. The positive of becoming a podiatrist in 1980s is the first 2 years physiology anatomy biochemistry neuroanatomy similar to medical school. The
Next 2 years so different. And skip podiatry residency and go into private practice preceptorship. Less of a general medical syllabus years 3 and 4 but finally obtaining a limited license. Now much worse 3 years podiatric residency training for a limited license???
Not as bad as going to medical school and not getting a residency match.
A nurse practitioner has less residency training requirements and greater anatomic scope of practice.
Basic science are “similar” to medical school? Similar is NOT THE SAME. Some have features similar to others but they are NOT the others. I don’t want an MD surgeon who took similar courses than a REAL SURGEON. That’s why it is a BLANTANT LIE FOR ANY PODIATRIST TO CALL HIMSELF A SURGEON! IT’S A DIRTY LIE BY A DIRTY PODIATRIST. I did a PODIATRY “residency”….roamed the hospital, ate at the cafeteria, followed the family practice residents around ( but did not take care of the patients) went to Podiatry Clinic daily cut nails) and kept trying to find surgical patients on the floor. When in A surgical case, had to push through the other Pod residents in the OR to get a glimpse. Pod attendings were all jerks , though they were G-d. I wasted 2 years, think of the waste of your life with 3 years and then a pseudo fellowship.
