Take a gander at the Nerd Birds CV. I have. He has proudly given multiple lectures on how to sue a podiatrist. He is el presidente of an organization which he started and maintains. He set the standard for his own “certification”. Maybe I missed it, but I did not see anything about ABFAS certified. Or ACFAS fellow. But maybe I am wrong, and my eyes are playing tricks on me the way Nerd Bird is playing trick on everyone else. I be he is in Arizona right now looking at footprints for the FBI to find the kidnapped women.… Read more »

What? Are we chopped liver? After decades and decades NON lifer podiatrists (such as we here at THE PODIATRY POST and elsewhere) have pointed out podiatry’s lies and weaknesses and called for parity through a plenary license. It is just common sense and acceptance of reality. Suddenly, now, Hrynwak, Borreggine and Steinberg SEEM TO BE seeing the light calling for a plenary license. Borreggine, though, says, “the reason for the stagnation (to go plenary) is uncertain. Uncertain??!! He posits what WE ALL KNOW. THAT IS, the APMA, CPME, QUACK COLLEGES AND PROPAGANDISTS have interfered with this direction. There’s no uncertainty… Read more »

All the discussion of the DPM degree being “so close” to an MD degree. Here is something to think about. Do you remember Covid ? Maybe you heard something about it. What does that tell you about the perception that a DPM is 3 courses away from an MD ? Medicine said no to our taking the USMLE. We have no recognition by ACGME for whatever reason the truth is. Podiatrically puerile! More proof that podiatry is a non serious business more than a medical specialty. BTW, I’ve done “zillions” of hammer toes successfully without implants and pins. Is the hardware necessary, or is it a “I can be just like an MD” thing? Besides, the manufacturers of the hardware may give the wtf some perks? Yeah, a dirty profession still exhibiting its NEW YAWK CITY SALES ROOTS.
