Well it looks like Sherlock Holmes podiatry version (ie. Nerd Berg) felt the need to write into PM News. He gave us his version of why a court threw out the podiatry forensic version of Columbo. Or is it Diagnosis Murder ? Sherlock and his fellow foot sleuths spend not inconsiderable time as plaintiff experts testifying against podiatrists in malpractice cases. They use their phony credentials for implied credibility. They have no real podiatry credentials. In the future, all juries will hear that his work has been ruled as junk science. It is like saying that board certification in ABPM is the largest medical board of podiatry and therefore scientifically valid. It will hurt his expert witness with no real credentials behind his business. It will be used to discredit him. And his fellow forensically board certified hucksters. Gosh, what’s next ? An attack on biomechanics ? Pediatric foot types ? Laser surgery ? Podiatry board certification in geriatrics ? Limb salvage ? Telling a jury that War Ron Joseph is not really an ID specialist ? Or that Traci Vla Hav Ic danced her way into a DPM degree and is not really a dermatologist ?

ACGME?? LOL, my residency ( which I finished in 2021) could not pass ACGME even if you paid them off. My program was just like my friends in another hospital, look for surgical case, attend clinic to cut nails and walk around the hospital. The residency director would show up when we booked a case for him. I would say, 50% of Podiatric residencies would not pass ACGME.
That’s why they’re not really residencies. Essentially, they’re MONEY MAKERS FOR THE RESIDENCY DIRECTOR AND THE HOSPITAL BY CONNING THE U.S. TAXPAYERS WHO FUNDS THEM THROUGH THE GOVERNMENT.
