The exact same reasons that Vets are committing suicide would seem to correspond to Podiatrists but we don’t ever hear about or get studies on it. This needs to be examined so people can get the help they need. Vets studied the problem; will the APMA do the same?

If you look at the statistics, admission to vet school is relatively difficult. And after all that training and post grad training, most vets start with about $70,000. Pretty poor salary for the amount of knowledge possessed by most vets.

Well, for those of us who THOUGHT we were getting into a (type) of actual Medical School, and who THOUGHT we were getting into a NEEDED and RESPECTED specialty, and stayed in podiatry despite finding the contrary, one might posit that podiatry is SLOW MOTION SUICIDE.
