Florida was the premier state along with Georgia for keeping competition out. Anything to keep those states a closed clique doesn’t surprise me. If podiatry was needed and there was a need like that for MD’s sequestration wouldn’t be necessary. there’s not that much quality work for podiatry to do. Sure, all the toenails and arch support sales you want but interesting cases or surgery just doesn’t fall to podiatry first. Look for more angles to keep the competition down. Remember in Medicine help is welcome. In the podiatry business scam competition is fatal. There is a certain EGO AND… Read more »

I’d like to think of myself as the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU OR THE FDA protecting the students and public from the exaggerations, lies, and fraud so well known in podiatry. Today is no different. Someone has to expose Barry Block and his obvious favoritism to selected opinions. To the poor students or non wtf readers, TRUE PODIATRY IS HIDDEN. Those of us who’ve known podiatry most of our lives know there is an undercurrent of collusion, favoritism, cultism, and financial wrangling that represents the atavistic side of podiatry. That is, the New York City, ghetto, Chiropody business side. The shoe… Read more »

Sorry Robert, podiatry is dead. Actually, the walking dead. I think you know it too. There is absolutely no way that podiatry can be resurrected. Too little, too late. There won’t be a Caribbean nexus… why should they? The only thing we all can do at this point is to keep getting the word out that this is not the field for the future.

CHECK TODAY’S “UNIVADIS” presentation of a BLACK TOENAIL. It is presented by a dermatologist MD PhD and commented on by an NP, a foot technician wearing a yellow “t” shirt, and a pediatrician. I threw my 2 cents in because the CHICAGO franchise that took my money said I was ” a specialists of the pes”. If this were Barry Block’s blog, a technician would have written in asking “any suggestions”?

They’ll be bankrupt before the State takes it anyway. Podiatry has become a a death wish. A slow painful death.

Can you lose your podiatry license for being a simpleton or a liar? Well, those that call themselves DOCTORS but actually act at a nursing or boyscout level tell you how to keep your feet warm. 7 years of quack school to tell you to wear socks and bundle up. But the foot salesman wants to SELL ARCH SUPPORTS TO YOUR CHILDREN AFTER HE DOES A “FOOT TYPING”. Something only a few quacks believe in.. I say take their license away. Another pretend dr. says when YOUR FEET GET OLD THEY HAVE MORE ISSUES. OH, I thought the body gets… Read more »

I’ll bet they didn’t tell you that at the franchise location you learned your trade. Once your check was cashed, and they squeezed 4 years of money out of you, it was, “the past doesn’t guarantee future performance”…..sucker!
