Don’t you love a good carnival? The FOOT SCHOOL RINGMASTERS AND BARKERS are hawking and conning the crowd. The crowd is loving it not knowing they’re the suckers. Well, the NY quack college was in full carnival mode. Not quite as cheap as a Coupee Doll, the audience was given ‘WHITE COATS’ letting them PRETEND THEY WERE GOING TO BECOME DOCTORS. Well, an hour of “pretend” can’t hurt, right? Adding to the “show” was the schools chief Carnival Barker, Mr. Trepal who had them read the Hippocratic Oath… as if that applies to podiatrists. (what about that pessary thing?) The… Read more »

Chandra Shekhar Bakshi, DVM, PhD of New York Medical College has been named primary investigator. Paramita Basu, PhD of NYCPM is the Co-Primary Investigator. The seed funding is from the Biomedical Health Sciences Division of Tourko University for the cough and runny nose psy op thing. Maybe they can partner with the podiatry cheerleader in the rah rah video.

These are opinions: Maybe we should all expat it to India. The food is great, interesting exotic culture, dancing, singing, etc…. Think of all the millions of Americans that would immigrate there. Wonder what the Indians would think about their job security, corporate ownership, influence etc….. it doesn’t matter because diversity and inclusion are wonderful. We could smile and make many new diverse friends.

How many dp wtfs are like this? Very, very few. On The Sublime Sincerity Of The Great Doctor By Sun Simião Under all circumstances, when you treat disease as a Great Doctor, you must calm your spirit and nail down your will, you must be free of wants and desires, and you must first develop a heart full of great loving-kindness and empathy. If someone who is suffering from disease comes to you seeking relief, you may not ever inquire about the person’s social status or financial situation…you must treat all patients exactly the same, as if they were your… Read more »

Are you reaching for your wallet or reaching for a soul?
BOY, “ROSENSLUM”. You sure sent me down the rabbit hole reading the SDN. It appears that podiatric discontentment is more pervasive than Barry Block and his handlers would have you believe. Low salaries, unfulfilling procedures, NO CHANCE OF GETTING OUT OF PODIATRY, same ‘ol limited license for too many years woes. Just more proof that podiatry is a struggle and disappointment for many. As anything in life, there will always be a few that will thrive in manure, and they’re the ones you’ll read about in PM News or when the podo-politician stands up at the REQUIRED seminar to tell… Read more »
My opinions are if someone does not need to make a living, podiatry might be an excellent choice. There are opportunities to help prevent foot pain and suffering. Also an opportunity to qualify form membership in the APMA by paying dues.

Sad that all you need is a small number of boot lickers who make their jobs their entire personality and take pride in being overworked just to take care of their fat diabetic kids and badly aging fat wife. Say no to podiatry work. It sucks. And it’s mainly a fraud.

What you really need: 1. Pulse and a blood pressure 2. Visa from a foreign country 3. Willing to accept a 5,000 dollar scholarship 4. Never checked out Podiatry on the internet 5. You do not mind 300K in debt

Think about what the APMA does. They make the public aware that podiatrists do exist. Podiatrists can consider donating money to the APMA. Or their social security to this wonderful organization. Maybe you can donate a portion your estate to the APMA for them to continue their awesome work filled with smiles, friends, and learning from each other in this short life.

First of all her name is DIKSHA. Yeah, I guess I’m prejudiced that some cultures are owning medical fields from pharmacy to MD. Go ahead and watch sports, or dancing with the stars while DIKSHA types live with their parents under strict DIK-TUMS. This girly is “setting herself up” (who taught her this?) and this video will go big in that rez interview and prove she’ll be a “rising star lifer”. Pod politicians love that type. They make great salespeople for the podiatry trade schools. She JUST HAPPENS TO HAVE A “SPECIALLY MADE NEON SIGN” BEHIND HER ABOUT THE DPM… Read more »

No where else to turn
Before foreigner opened up her mouth, already knew what it was gonna say. Her stuff is 100% pure marketing with overly optmistic comments about podiatry. She sounds like the podiatry schools I have been in contact with. This is the type of stuff we are subjected to! If ones grades are really high and MCATS, wouldn’t medical school in the USA be much better? Maybe if one flunks out of foreign medical school, podiatry would be a good choice? Or chiropractic, acupuncture, or dental school is much better than podiatry school. Sick ofthe lies. No where else to turn.
I heard one of my classmates graduated and went to medical school afterwards. My guess is graduating from podiatric medical school was a credential considered into being accepted into medical school. This one way to increase scope of practice might involve a career change.

I left Podiatry School ( IT’S NOT PODIATRIC MEDICAL SCHOOL) after two year and went to Ross University…..Foreign med schools DO NOT ACCEPT ONE COURSE from Podiatry Schools, had to start from day one. Currently am a second year resident in internal medicine in Miami.

Congrats for getting a residency match from Ross. Awesome.

What foreign medical school did you go to and what percentage of your class got matched with residency programs the same year you graduated?
