LER is advertising three (3) free CME. Once again CPME farts in your face. Warren Joseph, DPM, FIDSA returns. He’s lecturing for FREE ? Nobody is paying him ? And Tracy Vlahavic, DPM the foot dermatologist is lecturing for FREE ? Nobody is paying her ? And there is an MD lecturing for FREE ? And LER is putting on this program for FREE. Dubin is making no money ? The program withholds any information about the money trail. Amazing !And CPME is allowing three (3) free CME’s ? Two podiatrists, one of whom makes his money lecturing and consulting are not being paid ? Another absolute disgrace. CPME is a total joke. A total failure. More lectures on onychomycosis from a podiatrist who hasn’t treated a patient in years. LER, Presents, ASPS. What a farce this profession is. And CPME is incompetent. And LER, Presents, ASPS, and many other know this. And they are and have been cashing in.

Hartmann USA is sponsoring an infomercial for ASPS membership. One FREE CME. Salesman Alton Johnson DPM will be the pitchman. Another CPME disgrace. The lecture is on wound care. Hartmann makes wound care products. Draw your own conclusions.
There are a disproportionate amount of “dirty” podiatrists compared to MD’s because there is just not that much scope in the dpm license compared to an MD (or P.A. for that matter) license. MD’s don’t need to pitch, sell, or make Elective procedures appear to be necessary. It’s always the license, and the license is always due to the inferior education, and the inferior education is due to the core belief of the podopoliticians that podiatry is primarily a mercantile endeavor before it’s a humanistic one. Podiatry exists, first, for the podiatrist. The patient is just the commodity necessary to… Read more »
I don’t hate podiatrists, I just feel much better when they’re not around me.
Are podiatrists the brunt of had hitting persiflage, the brunt of jokes, subject to mockery and humiliation? No. The reason for this many podiatrists become adept at concealing their DPemmedness. They can pass as ordinary folks, but that takes years. Seven years to become podified, and roughly five or so to blend in. Yes, podiatrists are a mutants of a sort. Some aberration of nature, a cruel twist of academic deception. Fear not the podiatrist, they belong on to themselves in … Shit, what am I saying, the lifer mofos are freaks and geeks, sneaks and fart sniffing, toe jamming,… Read more »
Had to look up ‘persiflage’: “Light or contemptuous mockery or banter.” Thanks for the lesson Eddy.
I also loved, “cruel twist of academic deception”. A type of Shakespearean flavor describing the podiatric “doctorate”. Why don’t the rest of the dpm’s see what is so obvious to us?
P.A’s surge further ahead of the foot fakers with a fake “doctorate” who argue about 1 board or 2 boards which has NO SIGNIFICANCE TO THE REAL WORLD OF MEDICINE. Podiatry is so full of egotists, narcissists, and crooks that it can’t get its head out of its own problems to find the pathway to acceptance. (No, not “polite (read insurance money for hospitals) acceptance) Podiatry somehow thinks that if it can get the “OWNERSHIP” OF THE BOARD “BUSINESS” settled, it will be accepted. Get it! NO ONE OUTSIDE PODIATRY CARES! Those that care are only the INSECURE MEN WHO… Read more »
Boards? Boards ? I don’t need any stinking boards….I don’t belong to the APMA or my state society , never have, never will. 17 years in practice, my partner and I have a small office based OR. We are NOT on a hospital staff and we never played the DPM board game and guess what ? we do forefoot and rearfoot in the office !! Problem is , reimbursement is dropping every year and We decided to set 20 years as the date we get out of this. So 3 more years and then Bye Bye.In other words, if you… Read more »
Wise moves. If DPs disappeared ten years ago no one would have asked “Where’s the podiatrist?”
It was a refreshingly historic memory for me when “Office Docs” recounted doing office surgery. Long before “hospitals” (really more like Out patient centers) podiatrists including myself had office O.R.’s. I had quite a large well equipped one distinct from the rest of the office with scrub sink overhead sx lights, nitrogen tanks etc.. Although this will sound unbelievable to the “younger” pods, I started I.V.’s and even gave IV valium or Demerol to keep the pt. comfortable. We did this in my program so it was natural. We were like osteopaths in that we became a separate independent practitioner… Read more »
The date , July 17, 1988, A day I will never forget. The hospital 1/2 mile away from my office, a 200 bed small hospital , was on the verge of closing. When I get the call. Would you like to be on staff as an allied health professional and can you bring surgery here to the hospital. I was doing Hammer toes and silver-akins in my office. Well. the hospital called every DPM within a 10 mile radius. Now the fun starts, every other DPM telling the hospital that this DPM and That DPM does not have this board… Read more »
Wow 1988! Did you say “A truth”! “every other dpm telling the hospital that this dpm and that dpm doesn’t have this or that board”. Oh Yes yes yes. Podiatry’s dirty competitive greed came to full fruition. Where I live, the goal was to be the only pods on the hospital and SCREW YOUR “COLLEAGUES”. Dirty pods grandfathered themselves and their cultural goombahs’ in and CLOSED THE DOOR TO THE REST. They got the questions BUT YOU had to study. Then, there was the, “there is no geographic need for any more podiatrists in your area” response from insurance companies… Read more »
!988 ? that podiatry political crap still goes on in 2024…. You only did a one year program ?, I did two, Well I did three !! Hey I did a fellowship ! and am triple board certified. Small profession for small brains.
It’s typical podiatry I am better and bigger than you!
Bingo! Nobody is better than someone else just because they are board certified by a certain board. My opinion is Board certification alone does not protect the public.
Fat hillybilly Mikey Doome gave McMe a 4 year filthadelphia foot followshit. it was amazing just ask stevie crock from fishie town- very dpmish
smiler cannot help paying all those dues, it helps the simp sleep at night
Absolutely ridiculous. Will CPME ever become more legitimate ?
I guess not, as they are in the same building as the APMA.
But there is an invisible wall dividing them in the office.
Amazing ! An invisible wall. I do not believe this.
