The APMA the upstanding organization for Podiatry is currently lobbying congress in order to get a new set of E and M codes from being set for Podiatrists which will result in lower reimbursement for Podiatrists, and a reduction an income.  The APMA is concerned this isn’t fair.  Weird how the APMA wasn’t concerned about fairness when they were sponsoring lectures about how to bill Medicare for balance braces (fraud and people are now getting convicted), how to bill wound care supplies from your office.  The APMA wasn’t concerned about fairness then but now they are all about it.  See fairness is a two way street. You cannot exploit and cheat a system and then getting mad when the system responds by cheating you. That’s not how this works; that’s not how any of this works.
