I have a patient who had a painful foot. They have lupus. The rheumatologist is treating the patient for the lupus but the foot still hurts. I am not satisfied with the way the rheumatologist is treating the patient. I told the patient to change their medications because the foot still hurts so obviously the rheumatologist does not know what they are doing. That’s OK isn’t it ? I’m confused about my license. Dr. Levy, I am going to take a course in psychiatry, pediatrics, and gynecology and obstetrics. After I finish where do a change my DPM degree for an MD degree. Hell, I’ll even take a DO degree. I saw this lady with swollen legs and ankles and feet. She has something called CHF. I think it is something about her heart. I sold her a pump for her legs. The swelling comes out but she seems to have trouble breathing now. Do any of the PM readers have any suggestions ? My patient with heel pain keeps getting shooting pains down her leg into her heel. She is having trouble moving her leg and foot. Now she has numbness in her groin and is having trouble taking a shit. Will neuremedy help this patient ? I think she has neuropathy although her punch biopsy results did not show neuropathy. I saw where you can bill an ulcer as a neoplasm because you never know if it is cancer.Saw a patient who dropped a can on his big toe 24 hours ago. It is now dark under the nail. Can I bill for possible melanoma ? Also, can I bill a stress fracture of a third metatarsal as possible osteosarcoma ? What about a neuroma ? Are there any nerve cancers ? I still am confused about what is a nail biopsy. If I send a piece of nail to the lab that is a biopsy. This Markinson guy makes everything too technical. A biopsy is a biopsy is a biopsy. Does anyone have a CPT code for doing nothing ? I want to get paid for doing nothing.There must be some code I can misinterpret to my advantage, I really do nothing anyway. Hope you are doing well. I think if we work together we can help podiatry. It’s all about helping people and other podiatrists learn from each other. I think APMA has done so much to help podiatry and they can do even more. These are my opinions only.

How do you live to 103 and still shuck surgery at 99? Well, you don’t bother thinking about all that complicated medicine. You do some small cuts and make sure the pt isn’t too bright and suit prone. You don’t need an MD to get rich. You can make money wearing a nice suit SELLING CARS, let the others get their hands dirty with the mechanics of the car. My opinions only, Robert, I think it is great that older podiatrists can help people. It does not matter how old a person is to help people, because that is what life is about, helping people through these very difficult times. Let us all be available to help each other and lift each other up. A podiatrist has a duty to help people live their best possible. Life is short, we need to work together with our brothers and laugh when appropriate.
My opinion is that it’s important to ask questions to help people. Because that’s why we are podiatrists so that people can get better and we can help. I learn quite a lot from Dr. Levy. He’s has a lot of wisdom that we can all learn from so we can help people. Life is short and during these very stressful times it’s important that we all help our brothers.
