It’s even worse than you think. I found a website that listed 277! PA programs. With a little research I learned that the PA program is 7 semesters in length, less than two years! and the academic cost at a program near where i live is 120,000$ total. The opportunities for PAs greatly out weigh that of podiatry. Podiatrists can take all the tests they want, but at the end of the day, you’re still a podiatrist, a provider with a limited license. You’re 100% right Justin but recall they learn biomechanics of the whole body too. Muscle bone interactions of shoulder arms hips. Most foot courses are quack foot valgus compensations ie, ORTHOTIC theories and any general biomechanics relates back to orthotics, braces, shoes, pads. Yeah, most can’t handle foot mechanics let alone add hips legs backs shoulders and necks. Look at a real Kineseology book and check the complex mechanics of supra ankle systems. Pods just don’t have it “up there” IQ, GPA’S, AND MCAT SCORES MATTER!!!!
