Everyday on twitter someone always tweets the same lame joke about Podiatrists having foot fetish’s. My argument is I would imagine it’s the same of the general population. I think this for two reasons. If you have a foot fetish Podiatry might be the worst job for you. You do not want to see feet 40 hours a day and 30 different ones. The idea of a fetish is you get to see and perform with them a lot. With a Podiatrist literally you would see it every day. My other thought is you probably would not be able to survive without giving yourself away in residency or practice. Think about it, if a Podiatrist had a foot fetish the odds are they would do something sometime during training that they would get kicked out or at least ostracized. There is no way they could hide it forever.
Podiatry IS a CLOWN PROFESSION and clowns like Barry Block continue to embarrass the trade with pictures of CLOWN SHOES. How appropriate for a NON MD pretender field. That could be one in three Podiatry offices, as I was cut out from my percentage and let go after a year as an associate. The ass knew I didn’t have the money to sue him and an attorney did not want to take the case on a contingency fee. Podiatry eats their young and its getting worse. Barry Block doesn’t seem to hide his SHOE (foot) fetish. He actually seems to revel in it. He appears to “flaunt the fetish” veiling it as news. Hartley Mitchlen makes it publicly known he collects and displays people’s shoes (especially USED shoes!). Most pods aren’t into feet and shoes more than is professionally appropriate but there is a sector as aforementioned that appears to need psychiatric evaluation. I think that ORTHOTIC SHOE INSERTS may be a SUBSET of that psychopathology.
