I just learned about this site about 3 or 4 months ago. I keep hearing boot boot boots and 87 years of age. What the heck is all this 87 yoa and boots boots boots all about ? Was boots someone important ? Was he a person ? Thanks for any info.

Everyone is referring to Earl Horowitz, DPM. He was killed driving home from his office about 6 months ago. He was 87 years old and still practicing. Oh, and btw his nickname was Boots. He was the founder of the ABMSP. He definitely was not anyone important.

Boots was an 87 yo podiatrist who just would not retire. He started his own board to make money. The “Board of multiple medical specialties”? He is the poster child of a podiatrist WHO’S MAIN REASON TO LIVE WAS MONEY, POWER AND ATTENTION. Robert, I don’t know if you ever met him. I did. He was a very kind gentleman. I think he was trying to help our profession more so. He went through a lot in the years when Podees were treated even worse than they are now. RIP Dr. Boots!
