How does editor no practice podiatrist oversee orthopedic and medical journals?

Bc they’re junk predatory “journals”. Shylock puts self advertising to play pretend. A fuck up Shyster. The readership is too stupid to know the difference.

I see that Elliott Udell has written a paper for Barry on the non-compliant patient. Udell should be an expert on this topic. After all, the average patient exiting his office is thinking “that was the dumbest fucking advice I’ve ever heard. I guess I better go to a real doctor. That chiropodist couldn’t even trim my toenails without leaving shady edges”.

If podiatry really was limb salvation, trauma surgery, and complex rear foot carpentry that no one else but a dpwtf could do then why does BARRY BLOCK’S VOICE talksso much about shoes, toenail grinding, toenail dust inhalation, how to bill for a house call (to cut toenails) and dreams that podiatry can “ASSESS” MD dermatologists to see if they’re right? Right. Pods telling MD’s . When pigs fly and when “custom” orthotics really need a prescription. Shavelson compliments Levy. Levy compliments Shavelson. One big podiatric circle jerk all CLIMAXING with BARRY BLOCK’S SHOE PERVERSION PICTURES. By now haven’t you recognized… Read more »

Blast from past. Here’s something to ponder: A buddhist (zen) monk friend said that a shit worm does not dislike a cesspool and that it would monopolize and keep everyone else off the entire cesspool if it could – because it could not imagine anywhere else to be better than its accustomed environment. Can’t think of a better analogy to podiatricks. However, the message would be lost on most DP WTFS because they’re in too deep, too dumb, and can’t see anything other than $ signs. Shysters all–how else does one maintain that Manhatten condo?! For what purpose have you… Read more »

The bribes played on the podiatrists “vanity, ego, and ambition”. But they were “just like” other doctors. See podiatrists are “just like” after all. Well, someone needs to ask what the end point of this wound healing ATM is. If a wound closes but reopens in 6 mo or a year is it worth it? Perhaps the weekly tx, time involved, off loading etc. just delays the eventual amputation. I wouldn’t want an amputation at all but perhaps a prosthesis gets the person back into life faster. That IS an interesting discussion to be had. So, what we’ve intuited for… Read more »

Well stated. How many limb salvation efforts will work closing a wound? How many so-called ‘wound care centers’ —something seen on the windowpanes of pods at strip malls nationwide. Often, the treatments go on and on and on: The deeper the debridement the greater the billing. Sans referral to endocrine or general/vascular surgery often an amputation—which I do not think many are comfortable discussing—”We’re going to have to remove your leg,” try saying it a few times as if someone was saying it to you..Hell no, nobody wants to have their leg cut off, and shared decision making with the… Read more »

Reality......It's Traumatic
Nice E. Like the corithinian “leather” reference. Corinthian leather was a term coined by the huckster advertising agency Bozell to describe the upholstery used in certain Chrysler ‘luxury’ vehicles (us shit boxes). The term first appeared in advertising in 1974

Reality......It's Traumatic
Bozell is like podiatry, however, it isn’t. Marketing and creating needs, wants, and desires. Podiatry? Not much desire, yet it certainly manufactures needs and wants for its cult members/dupes.
Why brag without referring for vascular work if the wound does not have enough circulation to heal? Perhaps vascular specialists can consider referring to other vascular specialists that deal with distal endovascular work. Why not consider having the patient get different opinions so that the patient can make an informed consent how to proceed. The most important thing is for a patient to be happy understanding that you tried you best to help them understanding there are no guarantees even if everything is done that could have been done. We have to try our best to help our patients.

AA, there is no ‘bragging’—Not in any way. Some of your posts are contradictory, and suggest you don’t read them in the context intended. I agree that the statement that “you tried your best,” but often the concept of trying the podiatry notions trying their best are suspect because often podiatrists will cling to a patient (moreso for financial gain) rather than a posthaste referral to physicians specifically trained in vascular and general surgery (who’ve done fellowships) instead of another podiatrist—Why? The scope of practice laws vary from state to state, and the education P school and training program is… Read more »

Black Pill Footology
You are correct Robert. Many are more concerned with being “polite” than truth and facts. Maybe in the land of make believe (podiatry), lies are ok. Mistruths are cool. Embellishments are status quo. Exaggerations are fine. And kyphotic propaganda is acceptable as long as it’s polite with that bizarre smile.

Danny, you appear sincere. “trying your best” won’t fly in a courtroom where the goal is to get the money, maybe the Gertrudes and Ednas on the jury will like the nice yamulke boy, but at the end of the day, it’s money. The best way to care for your patients (NOT customers, NOT clients, NOT dupes) is to refer to a doctor. Yes–some doctors are hustlers, but many aren’t and they have real medical school training to diagnose, treat, and f/u. Eddy and Flaus, good points. In this day and age???For someone to actually keep a patient for financial gain and not to refer out for a second opinion? How many people think that way???? Robert, would go in at about 75-80% “people” (scum dmps) think that way.
One more question. I graduated in 1984. I informally trained by assisting on cases in a hospital OR. I remember I was one of the first or maybe the 1st in my hospital to perform a total 1st metatarsal joint implant procedure on a patient to refix a problem. I remember everyone was gathereing in the OR and the residents as well as 2 other attendings were present. Then I had another case where I fixed the hammertoe as per the extensor hood resction etc…. I used my own power equiptment. Then there was another hospital who would not even… Read more »

Danny Boy- for the millionth time what the bleep is a “certified podiatry “residency?!?!” Dp wtfs do not have residencies governed by ABMS, ABSITE, ACGME. They have post graduate training programs whereby podies governing other podies-self evaluated. No 3rd party medical oversight. Podiatry swill.
You got fucked by podiatry. Why do You still support them??? Maybe get a job working with all the Karen’s in the personnel depts. you can be Dp wtf consultant in dermatioscopy and ensure that stress relief is provided to all corporate lackeys.

I enjoy teaching. I did not perform a lot of surgeries since I felt it was not needed. In addition I am Board Certified in Podiatric Medicine.
